KNOXVILLE — As the University of Tennessee athletics beat writer for The Chattanooga Times Free Press, one of my constant assignments is following the careers of players from our three-state coverage area. KNOXVILLE — It’s no stretch to call Eric Gordon’s Saturday a bad day.

KNOXVILLE — I keep intending to interview just one University of Tennessee football player for this weekly “Wednesday’s with Wes” web special, but this week provided another can’t-miss opportunity to interview two Volunteers.

KNOXVILLE — First-year University of Tennessee football coach Derek Dooley had several interesting things to say Sunday night after analyzing film of Saturday’s 31-17 loss to Florida, and our newspaper only has so much space.
