The Eastdale Elementary School reunion is set for Saturday and the community is invited. The outdoor festivities will be held on the former site of the elementary school near Eastdale Recreational Center. The festivities run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., so be sure to take along your lawn chair, fan, tent and a grill, if you wish.

The Hamilton Community Theatre presents “The Belle of Amherst” by William Luce, an intimate look into the life of Emily Dickinson. The production runs tonight-Saturday at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 104 McBrien Road. All shows are at 7:30 p.m. This one-woman show stars Rosemary Bunn of Griffin, Ga., in the role of Dickinson, one of America's best-known and most-beloved poets.

The community farmers market at Grace Episcopal Church will open one hour earlier, running from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Saturday.

The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Chattanooga Chapter is hosting an All Candidates Forum at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga on Monday beginning at 5:30 p.m. The forum will be held in the University Center Raccoon Mountain Room and its goal is to give the public an opportunity to question the candidates and make sure its voices are heard. Olde Towne Books will host story time on Saturday at 11 a.m. and on Sunday, from 2-4 p.m. with John McCall signing his new book, “On This Day In McCallie’s History.” Mr. McCall will also have stories to share. If you have questions or suggestions, call 595-4468.

Grace Episcopal Church’s Third Day Gardeners will meet for a session on butterfly gardening taught by long-time Master Gardener Lisa Lemza on Sunday at 4 p.m. All are welcome. The name “Third Day Gardeners” refers to Genesis 1:11-13, describing the day on which God created plants and all green things in the timeless Creation Story.

This summer, Brainerd Baptist is inviting all school-aged children to set sail for Vacation Bible School fun on the high seas. Kids will feel the sea spray on their face as sails snap overhead. They’ll experience the deep rolling waters of God’s love and his word. Register now. The dates are Sunday-Thursday, June 27-July 1. Each night starts at 6:30 p.m. and runs until 8:20 p.m. The last night will have a family night afterwards with inflatables and a dunking booth.
