It’s audition time at Ballet Tennessee and the Chattanooga Theatre Centre. Ballet Tennessee is holding auditions this week for “The Nutcracker Suite.”

Don’t miss this summer’s final installment of Movies in the Park, presented by First Things First. This Saturday’s movie is about a sloth, kidnapped by a mother dinosaur and rescued by his prehistoric friends. The movie will start just after sundown at Coolidge Park, and children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

You can cast your vote at Northgate Mall, next to the Science Theatre, or at the Election Commission on River Terminal Road. It’s time for Movies in the Park. On Saturday, bring the family down to Coolidge Park to enjoy a movie under the stars. This week, natural history comes to life for an unsuspecting night security guard at a museum. The movie will begin just after dark. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Cheer on your favorite local celebrity at Dancing with the Stars Chattanooga on Saturday at the Tivoli Theatre. Dancers Alexis Bogo, Ed Harrison, Josh McManus, Lynda Hood, Kelly Brexler and Marc Cromie will take the stage with their professional partners from Fred Astaire Dance Studio at 7 p.m. Fans will be wowed by guest performances by Maksim Chmerkovskiy of ABC's “Dancing with the Stars.” Event proceeds will benefit the Partnership for Families, Children and Adults.
