The Signal Mountain Eagles Football team continues to roll and will play Sequatchie County at home on Friday at 8 p.m.

The Mountain Business Association will be meeting this evening at 6:30 p.m. at the Signal Mountain Golf and Country Club. All members and prospective members are encouraged to attend. Cost is $10 and will include wine and hors d'oeuvres. Entertainment will be provided by The Orchard Band. For more information, contact Gretchen Richards at 209-2670.

Jim Palmour and John Harper will be providing the music at Lynn's Market on Friday with entertainment and live music at 6:30 p.m. Join your friends for a night of food, fun and music. Lynn's Market is located on Taft Highway just past Ace Hardware.

Yard sale season is here. St. Augustine Catholic Church will be conducting its annual yard sale to raise funds to support Haitian students. Dubbed the "Hot as Haiti Yard Sale," it’s set for Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There will be three shows this weekend of the 39th summer production of the Signal Mountain Playhouse, "Brigadoon," tonight through Saturday.

The Lone Oak Seniors Annual Quilt Show will be held this weekend, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and 1-4 p.m. Sunday. A "Nine Patch" set on point quilt given away at the end of the show and a $3 donation is requested. For more information, call 888-7250 or 886-7443.

Music on the lawn will continue Friday at 6:30 p.m. at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church. Several bands will be featured, including The Orchard Band and The Deciders. Church youth will be selling refreshments to support mission trips and there will be a "free will" offering.

Shuttle bus available this year at the July 4th Celebration. The free service will shuttle folks from Signal Crest United Methodist Church to Althaus Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with help on and off the bus.

Happy Fathers Day! Remember Dad on this Father's Day and make it a day on Signal Mountain where you can eat, shop and play. The merchant members of the Mountain Business Association will be giving away $25 gift certificates. Shop and register Friday and Saturday to be eligible to win one of three that will be given away.
