Former Missouri State coach, Cuonzo Martin was introduced as the new University of Tennessee men's basketball coach Monday.

Work continues on repairing a nearly 100-foot section of the Ocoee Dam No. 2 flume that was damaged last year by a rockslide as seen from Hwy 64.

Some 600 soldiers and hundreds of spectators took part in the 149th anniversary of the Battle of Resaca in Resaca, Ga., on Saturday. The event gave attendees the opportunity to connect with history and see a Civil War era camp, as well as a battle re-enactment with rifles, sabers and cannon blasts.

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga welcomed Will Wade as the new leader of the Mocs men's basketball program during a ceremony on campus Tuesday. Wade was previously an assistant coach at Virginia Commonwealth University under head coach Shaka Smart.

Legendary NFL defensive end Reggie White was honored as part of the "Hometown Hall of Famer" program, presented by Allstate Insurance and the Pro Football Hall of Fame, during a ceremony at Howard School on Monday. White's family was honored with a plaque that will be housed at Howard to commemorate his accomplishments. White, who graduated from Howard in 1980, died in 2004 with an NFL record 198 sacks.
