Chipman and Smith

Jeffrey and Valerie Chipman of Lisbon, Maine, announce the engagement of their daughter, Larissa Marie Chipman, to Charles Walton Smith II, son of Charles Walton Smith of Ringgold, Ga., and Maurice and Jo-an Turgeon of Sabattus, Maine. The wedding is planned for Saturday, June 13, in Harpswell, Maine. The future bride is the granddaughter of Mary L. Staab of Jefferson, Maine, and Merwin and Joanne Chipman of Harpswell. Ms. Chipman graduated from Vineyard Christian School in Lewiston, Maine, and received a degree from St. Stephen’s University in Canada. She is pursuing a degree from Hesser College in Concord, N.H. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Nell E. Smith of Ringgold, Ga. Mr. Smith graduated from Lisbon High School in Lewiston. He is a member of the management team at Margarita’s Mexican Restaurant in Concord.

Jerry and Carol Glover of Knoxville announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristina Carole Glover, to Charles David Sahm, son of Charles and Betty Sahm of Chattanooga. The wedding is planned for Saturday, June 27, at Central Baptist of Bearden in Knoxville. Ms. Glover graduated from Ooltewah High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Tennessee at Martin and a master’s degree in education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is an elementary school teacher with Hamilton County Schools. Mr. Sahm graduated from Ooltewah High School and received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Auburn University. He is employed as an accountant and a part-time manager at Cheeburger Cheeburger.

Greenwell and Cheek

Scott and Laura Greenwell of Chattanooga announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Brooke Greenwell, to Jon Porter Cheek, son of Ron and Celia Anderson of Chapel Hill, Tenn., and the late Mark Cheek. The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 9, at St. Thaddaeus Episcopal Church, where the future bride is a member. The future bride is the granddaughter of Harold and Betty Greenwell, Martha Cummings, and Robert and Janet Clark. Ms. Greenwell received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Middle Tennessee State University. She is an event coordinator with Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants in Brentwood, Tenn. The future bridegroom is the grandson of James and Vivian Connelly, the late Lorane Connelly, Margie Cheek and the late Earl Cheek. Mr. Cheek received a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from MTSU. He is a staff auditor with Rayburn Bates and Fitzgerald in Brentwood and is a member of Holts Corner Baptist Church.

Jackson and Henderson

Tony and Kathy Jackson of Rye, N.H., announce the engagement of their daughter, Katrina Lee Jackson, to James Andrew Henderson, son of Mike and Judy Henderson of Calhoun, Tenn. The wedding is planned for Thursday, June 18, in Grand Teton National Park, in Jackson Hole, Wyo. The future bride is the granddaughter of Agnes Patricia Jackson of Watertown, Mass. Ms. Jackson received a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Boston College and a doctorate in organic chemistry from the University of Colorado in Boulder. She is pursuing a Mary Fieser postdoctoral research fellow at Harvard University. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Estel and Marie Cody, James A. Henderson and Jean Henderson, all of Cleveland, Tenn. Mr. Henderson graduated from Bradley Central High School. He received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biochemistry from Tennessee Technological Institute. He received a doctorate in organic chemistry from the University of Colorado in Boulder. He is a postdoctoral research scientist at Harvard University and is a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in Cleveland.

Coral and Kim Johnson of Clive, Iowa, announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooke Nicole Marie Johnson, to Brandon Edward Wright, son of Doug and Sue Wright of Hixson. Ms. Johnson received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Graceland University and a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Des Moines University. She is an emergency medicine resident and is a member of Community of Christ Church. The future bridegroom is the grandson of James and Kathryn Isom, Sue Wright and the late James Wright. Mr. Wright received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Carson-Newman College. He is a training instructor with Tract-Manager and is a member of Soddy Church of Christ.

Emily Katherine Eiselstein became the bride of Richard Trapnell Glover on Saturday, Sept. 20, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Samuel Payne. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Frederick Eiselstein of Chattanooga. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Howard Clarke Glover III of Lookout Mountain, Tenn. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Robin Michelle Eiselstein and Karah Eve Nazor were honor attendants. Bridesmaids were Sarah Lowthian Glover, Kacee Leigh Nazor-Comer and Melissa Bennett Dorn. The flower girls were Lilah Dorn, Tilliegh Nazor-Comer, Sophia Glover and Amellia Glover. Howard C. Glover III served as best man. Groomsmen were Nelson Rick Bowers, Dan Overton Simms Paty, Scott Frederick Eiselstein and Howard Clarke Glover IV. The ring bearer was William Ozburn. A reception was held at Lookout Mountain Golf Club. The couple took a wedding trip to Sea Island, Ga., and Sowe, Vt. They reside in Chattanooga.

Land, Georgia Land, Christie Jennings and Dr. Tim Jennings. Sharayah Scott attended her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Tamara Scott, sister of the bride, Brooks Thomas, Allison Zollman and Jessica Breetzke. The flower girl was Zoe Thomas. Ricky Naus served as best man. Groomsmen were John Munnoch, James Fedusenko, Elliot Brown and Jon Michael Brown, brothers of the bridegroom. A reception was held at the church. The couple took a wedding trip to Jamaica. They reside in Chattanooga.
