Tara Shea Bennett became the bride of Joseph Elias Meadows on Friday, Jan. 23, in Romano Chapel at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. The ceremony was performed the Rev. Brian Ross. The bride is the daughter of Al and Charlotte Bennett of Chattanooga. Parents of the bridegroom are Phil and Patti Meadows of Chattanooga. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. A reception was held at the Hyakumi Japanese Restaurant in Caesar’s Palace. The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas. They reside in Chattanooga.

Erin Pemberton became the bride of William Joshua Melhorn on Friday, Jan. 16, at Aventura Spa Palace in Mexico. The bride is the daughter of Jim and Lisa Pemberton of Cleveland, Tenn. Parents of the bridegroom are Bill and Vicki Melhorn of Chattanooga. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Ashley Folkner was maid of honor. Bill Melhorn was best man. A reception was held at La Hacienda Restaurant in Mexico. The couple honeymooned in Mexico. The reside in Chattanooga.

Bookout and Hall

David and Kimberly Humphreys of Chattanooga announce the engagement of their daughter, Carmen Alisha Bookout, to Kristopher Cam Hall, son of Jim and Mary Hall of Pikeville, Tenn. The wedding is planned for Sunday, April 19, in Patten Chapel on the campus of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. The future bride is the granddaughter of William and Phyllis Edwards. Ms. Bookout received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from UTC. She is a member of Christ United Methodist Church. The future bridegroom is the grandson of A.F. and Agnes George. Mr. Hall received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Tennessee Technological University. He is a member of Wheeler Hill Church of Christ.

Flanagan and Webb

Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Flanagan of Chattanooga announce the engagement of their daughter, Dr. Barbara Elizabeth Flanagan, to Dr. Brian Jeffrey Webb, son of Kenneth and Sandra Webb of Clarksville, Tenn. The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 2, in Chattanooga. The future bride is the granddaughter of Geraldine Flanagan of Smyrna, Ga., the late Delbert Flanagan, and the late Stephen and Barbara Eady of Chattanooga. Dr. Flanagan graduated from Baylor School and received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Vanderbilt University, where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and is a member of First-Centenary United Methodist Church. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Madeline Rawlins of Hopkinsville, Ky., the late Edward Rawlins, S.B. Webb of Clarksville and the late Agnes Webb. Dr. Webb received a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He graduated from the UT College of Dentistry and is completing an orthodontic residency at LSU College of Dentistry. Dr Webb is a member of St. Johns Methodist Church in Hopkinsville, Ky.

Hawthorne and Towe

The engagement of Cassi Dianne Hawthorne and Jon-William Kolby Towe is announced today. Miss Hawthorne is the daughter of John and Diane Watson of Ringgold, Ga., and Mike and Stacy Hawthorne of Ooltewah. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Trudy Towe of Ooltewah and the late Steven Towe of East Ridge. The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 16, at Canyon Ridge Club on Lookout Mountain, Ga. The future bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Hawthorne of Harrison, Tenn., Reba Robinson and Mr. and Mrs. David Robinson, all of Ooltewah. Ms. Hawthorne graduated from Ooltewah High School and Alternative Visions Hair Academy. She is a hair stylist with E’lan Hair and Nail Studio. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Dorothy Doss of Chattanooga, the late John A. Doss, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Brooks of East Ridge and the late William Towe of Chattanooga. Mr. Towe graduated from Ooltewah High School and is pursuing a degree in business management. He is employed by McKee Foods and is a member of City Church.

Mike and Kim Stephens of Chickamauga, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Cassidy Stephens, to Andy Smithson, son of Bill and Maria Smithson of Soddy-Daisy. The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 9, at Flintstone Baptist Church, where the future bride is a member. The future bride is the granddaughter of the late Willard and Mary Ruth Thompson, David Stephens and the late Judy Stephens. Ms. Stephens graduated from Ridgeland High School. She is pursuing a degree in education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is employed by Chattanooga Valley Baptist Daycare. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Helen Macy, the late Daniel Macy, Donald Smithson and the late Betty Smithson. Mr. Smithson graduated from Rhea County High School and received a degree in environmental science from UTC. He is employed by FedEx Ground and is a member of Christian Bible Fellowship.

Drs. Daniel Vance and Janet Snoddy of Cleveland, Tenn., announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Ann Vance, to James Warren Randolph, son of James and Aimee Randolph of Harrison, Tenn. The future bride is the granddaughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Claude Snoddy of Tullahoma, Tenn., Dr. Minnie Vance of Chattanooga and the late Daniel Vance III. Ms. Vance graduated from Girls Preparatory School. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia, where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She is pursuing a medical degree from UVA. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Elizabeth Randolph of Birchwood, Tenn., the late Warren Bernard Randolph, Sonja Donald of Jacksonville, Fla., and the late James R. and Lora P. Donald. Mr. Randolph graduated from Baylor School and received a bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University. He is a legislative associate with Appalachian Voices in Washington, D.C.

Amanda Brooks was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Ferguson, sister of the bridegroom, Kimmi Edwards, Ginny Land, Jessica Bowe, Heather Elliott and Laura DeVilbiss. Thomas Skinner served as best man. Groomsmen were Chris Brooks, Josh Estes, Jonathan Evans, Bryan Harvey, Michael Mahaffey and Daniel Sutherland. A reception was held at the Chattanooga Golf and Country Club. The couple took a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C. They reside in Hixson.

The bride is the daughter of Robert Carroll and Karen Carroll of Chattanooga. Parents of the bridegroom are Tom and Marion Griscom, also of Chattanooga. Megan Reseigh and Holly Carroll were honor attendants. Bridesmaids were Lindsey Clarke, Patti Griscom and Stephanie Nolan. The flower girls were Jolie McGann and Eliza McGann. Mr. Griscom served as best man for his son. Groomsmen were Adam Reseigh, Brian Lloyd, William Godsey and Spears Wilson. The ring bearer was Baker Reseigh. A reception was held at Heritage Park. The couple are taking a wedding trip to Walt Disney World and St. Petersburg, Fla. They will reside in Chattanooga.
