Chandler and Hudson

The engagement of Brittney Elise Chandler and Bryan Patrick Hudson is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Robin Chandler of Acworth, Ga., and Jim Chandler of Kennesaw, Ga. Parents of the future bridegroom are James and Susan Hudson of Ringgold, Ga. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Oct. 10, at the Mashburn residence in Ringgold. Ms. Chandler graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in finance from Auburn University. She is a financial analyst at Accenture in Atlanta. The future bridegroom is a graduate of Ringgold High School. He is employed in sales at Mashburn Equipment in Ringgold.

Catoe and Perez

Ken and Linda Catoe announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Erin Catoe, to Michael Perez, son of Miguel and Luz Perez. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Sept. 19, at Grace Baptist Church. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Catoe, the late Jimmye Catoe and the late Kathleen McGraw. Miss Catoe received a bachelor’s degree in music from the University of the Cumberlands. She is employed as team sports lead with Dicks Sporting Goods in Carbondale, Ill., and is a member of The Vine Community Church. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Santiago Perez of Jalisco, Mexico, Elisa Lazaro of Chicago, the late Pedro Guerrero and the late Angelita Murillo. Mr. Perez is a graduate of Elk Grove, Ill., High School. He is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in architectural studies at Southern Illinois University. He is employed as a gymnastics instructor with Ultimate Gymnastics in Carbondale. He is a member of The Vine Community Church.

Champlin and Hodges

The engagement of Katherine Elizabeth Champlin and Wesley Michael Hodges is announced today. Miss Champlin is the daughter of Jeff and Ann Fracas of Jefferson, Ga., and Duane and Debbie Champlin of Buford, Ga. Mike and Tracie Hodges are parents of the future bridegroom. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Nov. 14, at First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta. Miss Champlin is the granddaughter of Mrs. Jack D. Savage of Dunwoody, Ga., the late Mr. Savage, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Champlin of Athens, Ga., Gene Hinesley of Cape Coral, Fla., and the late Mrs. Hinesley. The future bride is a graduate of Jefferson High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in management with certificates in finance and marketing from Georgia Institute of Technology. She is an investment banker with SunTrust Robinson Humphrey in Atlanta. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Louise Hodges, the late Thomas E. Hodges, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Grady Posey. Mr. Hodges is a graduate of Baylor School and attended Georgia Institute of Technology. He currently plays professional baseball for the Columbus Clippers, the AAA affiliate of the Cleveland Indians. He is a member of Ooltewah United Methodist Church.

The engagement of Hollie Lee Goins and Kristopher Eugene Gilreath is announced today. Miss Goins is the daughter of Judge and Mrs. Russell Bean. Mr. Gilreath is the son of Danny Gilreath and Dale Wilson. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Aug. 15, at First Baptist Church. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Eloise Bean, the late William Goins and the late Frankie Hutton. Miss Goins is a graduate of Red Bank High School and of the Chattanooga State Technical Community College dental assistant program. She is employed as a dental assistant for Dr. Brad Sundstrom. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Linton and Judy Gilreath, Bill and Fran Martin of Knoxville and the late Sharon Buckner. Mr. Gilreath is a graduate of Red Bank High School and is currently in the IBEW apprentice program. He is employed as an electrician with Lawson Electric.

Mr. Quarterman is the son of James and Sharon Quarterman of Fernandina Beach, Fla. The wedding is planned for Tuesday, Aug. 11, in Marathon, Fla. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Cynthia and Cecil Jenkins of Soddy-Daisy, the late Joe Vickery and Sarah and Milburn Pryor of Ponce Inlet, Fla. Miss Pryor received a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of North Florida. She is employed by Florida Bureau of Laboratories. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Frank and Edith Farmer of Moultrie, Ga., and Argris Quarterman of Brunswick, Ga. Mr. Quarterman received a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of North Florida and is employed with Mayo Clinic of Jacksonville, Fla.
