The future bride is the granddaughter of Jerry and June Cavin of Rome, Ga., the late Gene and Yvonne Pasley, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Berg. The future bridegroom is the grandson of the late Thomas Joseph and Rutha Monday, the late Floyd Monroe and Nettie Lee Morgan Wofford.

The engagement of Kelly Lee Bradshaw and John David Ballard is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of John and Elizabeth Bradshaw of Roanoke, Va. The future bride is the granddaughter of the late Fred and Virginia Sue Stewart, and the late Artist and Sarah Jane Hicks. Miss Duke-Shepherd graduated from Tyner High School, and attended Tennessee Technological University. She is a member of Bayside Baptist Church, and is employed with CBL Properties and Associates. The future bridegroom is the grandson of the late Willis and Ola Johnson and the late Charlie and Ruby Blankenship. Mr. Johnson is a graduate of Bledsoe County High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Covenant College and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from St. Francis University. He attends St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, and is employed as a registered nurse with Life Care Centers of America Inc. in Cleveland, Tenn.

The engagement of Katharine Heise Etchen and Samuel Brandon Couillard is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Sheila and Frederick Etchen of Louisville, Ky. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Virginia and Ben Couillard and Jack Randles. Mr. Couillard received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Rhodes College, where he was president of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity.
