Hurst

Tequila Brooke Hill became the bride of Billy Joe Hurst in a ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 3, at the home of Peggy and Leroy McCray. The Rev. Callie Cronon performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Tim Hill and Sheila Barrow. Parents of the bridegroom are Diane and Johnathan Hurst. Amanda Howard was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Hurst, Jenni Burnette and Candace Armstrong. Addison Welch and Brooklyn Gonzalez were flower girls. Jason Kenner served as best man. Groomsmen were KC Hill, Brad Parker and Kevin Young. Zane Howard and Gage Welch were ring bearers. A reception was held at the McCray home. The couple reside in this city.

Kaulfuss

Elizabeth Erli became the bride of Eric Kaulfuss in a ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 3, in a private beach ceremony in Key West, Fla. The bride is the daughter of Philip Erli of Ringgold, Ga., and Christine Erli of Charlotte, N.C. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Kaulfuss of Huddleston, Va. Mrs. Kaulfuss received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bryan College. She is employed as a human resources solution and training consultant by BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. Mr. Kaulfuss received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Pennsylvania State University. He is employed as a talent director by CIGNA Healthcare. The couple honeymooned in the Bahamas. A reception for family and friends will be held in the spring. They reside in this city.

Denise Ann Skahan became the bride of Ryan Per Thomas in a ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 10, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Mike Nolan performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Kevin and Mary Skahan. Parents of the bridegroom are Per and Bonnie Thomas of Hendersonville, Tenn. Theresa Youngquist was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Shelley Henderson, Caroline Skahan and Rachel Skahan. Adam Zanetis served as best man. Groomsmen were Phillip Skahan, Justin Thomas and Daren Thomas. A reception was held at the River Inn. After a wedding trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, the couple reside in Knoxville.

Engagement

Baxley and Blount

The engagement of Elizabeth Corry Baxley and Grady Blount III is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Crabtree and Harold Huntley Baxley Jr. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mrs. Rowena Blount and the late Grady Blount Jr. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Dec. 19, at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church. The future bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. George McMurry Clark Jr., the late Mr. Clark, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Huntley Baxley of Kershaw, S.C. Miss Baxley is a graduate of Chattanooga Christian School. She received a bachelor’s degree in English from Furman University, where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. She attends Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Greenville, S.C. Mr. Blount received a bachelor’s degree in education from Valdosta State University. He attends Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Greenville, and is employed as a counselor by the South Carolina Department of Mental Health.

Andria Diane Hughes became the bride of Andrew Wiilliams Hampton in a ceremony on Friday, Oct. 12, at the Ringgold Wedding Chapel. The Rev. Carl Human performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Elaine and Gerald Barber and the late Lonnie and Connie Hughes. Helen Hunton Hampton is mother of the bridegroom. Donna Bearden, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Peter Hampton served his brother as best man. A reception was held at the wedding chapel. The couple reside in this city.
