Beegle and Few

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph A. Beegle III of Cleveland, Tenn., announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Grace Beegle, to Jonathan Franklin Few, son of Christa Ann Smith of Mobile, Ala., and William Franklin Few of Houston. The wedding is planned for Saturday, June 6, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, where the future bride is a member. The future bride is the granddaughter of Wanelle Beegle of Birmingham, Ala., the late Ralph A. Beegle Jr., and the late Rev. and Mrs. William James Gould of Gulf Shores, Ala. Ms. Beegle received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of South Alabama, where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. She is employed by T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Lois Carver of Josephine, Ala., and the late Albert Carver. Mr. Few received a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of South Alabama, where he was a member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. He is employed by Phillips Van Heusen.

Hicks and Hysmith

The engagement of Jessica Lois Hicks and Nicholas Daniel Hysmith is announced today. Ms. Hicks is the daughter of Belinda Barber Combs of Chattanooga and the late Edward Hicks. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Larry Morris and Angela Hysmith Morris of Henderson, Tenn. The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 9, at White Oak United Methodist Church, where the future bride is a member. The future bride is the granddaughter Kathryn Patrick, the late Jack Barber, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hicks. Ms. Hicks graduated from Red Bank High School and received a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She is pursuing a medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. A.D. Hysmith, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Breece and the late Wayne Morris. Mr. Hysmith graduated from Chester County High School and received a bachelor’s degree in biology from UTK. He is pursuing a medical degree from UT College of Medicine and is a member of Fellowship Memphis Church.

Fox and Huddleston

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond A. Fox Jr. of Apison announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Alexandra Fox, to Brandon Leigh Huddleston, son of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Huddleston of Lebanon, Tenn. The wedding is planned for Saturday, April 18, at St. Stephen Catholic Church. The future bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond A. Fox of Chattanooga, Harriet Ellis of Panama City, Fla., and the late William A. Ellis. Ms. Fox graduated from Notre Dame High School and received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Middle Tennessee State University. She received a master’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is an occupational therapist in Lake Mary, Fla. The future bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Huddleston of Baxter, Tenn., and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Pachal of Alexandria, Tenn. Mr. Huddleston graduated from Mount Juliet High School in Mount Juliet, Tenn., and received a master’s degree in marketing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He is manager of corporate partnerships for Grand-Am Road Racing in Daytona Beach, Fla.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Rice of Hixson announce the engagement of their daughter, Meredith Louise Rice, to Jesse Taylor Cordell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Cordell of Sale Creek. The bride is the granddaughter of Cecile Brumlow of Hixson, the late Eugene Brumlow, Gladys Rice of Haleyville, Ala., and the late Sam Rice. Ms. Rice received a bachelor’s degree in human ecology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She is pursuing a master’s degree in education from Walden University and is employed as a teacher in Hamilton County. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Archie and Thelma Poole, the late Olen Cordell and the late Bertha Smith, all of Sale Creek. Mr. Cordell received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from UTC. He is an operator with JAT Systems.

Flower girls were Madi Lunsford and Aria Cooper. Mr. Bergmann served as best man for his son. She is the granddaughter of the late Rosa Amparo Hernandez, the late Juan Armendariz, the late Nestora Cabriales and the late Pedro De la Cruz. Parents of the bridegroom are Dr. Paul and Che Carico of Signal Mountain. He is the grandson of the late Paul and Frances Carico and the late Edward and Dorothy Mease. The bride received a bachelor’s degree from Oakland University in Detroit. The bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree in music from Middle Tennessee State University and a master’s degree in music from the University of Michigan. He is a professional opera singer with the Fort Worth Opera.
