Allison and Ferguson
The engagement of Denise Allison and Tracy Ferguson is announced today. Ms. Allison is the daughter of the late Brenda and Wayne Allison of Chattanooga. The prospective bridegroom is the son of the late Stylist Ferguson of Danville, Va. The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 16, at The Wedding Chapel. Ms. Allison graduated from City High School. She is a project development and reports analyst with BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. Mr. Ferguson is employed as a carpenter.
Crews and Pitman
Dr. and Mrs. Alan Crews of Dayton, Tenn., announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Courtney Crews, to James Waite Pitman, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Pitman II of Nashville. A summer wedding is planned. The future bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Schuldt of McComb, Miss., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Crews of Lawrenceburg, Tenn. Ms. Crews graduated from Girls Preparatory School and received a degree, magna cum laude, in economics from Vanderbilt University, where she was president of Delta Gamma Sorority. She is employed as an analyst in the Healthcare Corporate and Investment Banking group of SunTrust Robinson Humphrey in Nashville. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Henry McCall and Joanne McCall of Nashville, the late Ike Pitman of Fairhope, Ala., and the late Bernice Pitman of Woodbury Heights, N.J. Mr. Pitman graduated from Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville and received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Rice University. He is employed as a project estimator for Batten & Shaw General Contractors.
Newman and Greene
The engagement of Jacqueline Newman and Wes Greene is announced today. Ms. Newman is the daughter of Bill Newman and Gena Britt. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Robert Greene and Glenda Green. The wedding is planned for Saturday, June 27, at Dallas Bay Baptist Church, where the couple are members. The future bride is the granddaughter of Carl Housley, Mary Housley, the late Henry Newman and the late Louise Newman. Ms. Newman received a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is employed by Walgreens Pharmacy and is an aerobics instructor with The Rush. The future bridegroom is the grandson of the late Bruce Wilson, the late Hazel Wilson, Kenneth Greene and the late Marjoree Greene. Mr. Greene received a bachelor’s degree in education from UTC. He is a teacher with Hamilton County Schools.

She is pursuing a degree in medical assisting from Miller-Motte Technical College. She is employed by Discovery Point Daycare and is a member of Bayside Baptist Church. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Kathy Kjeldgaard of Warner Robins, Ga., the late Louis Kjeldgaard, Penny Baumann of Miami and George Youvas of Davis, Fla. Mr. Kjeldgaard graduated from Chattanooga Central High School. He is employed by UPS and is a member of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church.

Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Rita Wagoner of Cedartown, Ga., and Robert W. Eaves of Chickamauga, Ga. The wedding is planned for Saturday, June 27, at James H. Floyd State Park. The future bride is the granddaughter of Terry S. McKinney of Huntsville, Ala., and Norman Smith of Rossville. Ms. Thornburg graduated from Ridgeland High School. She is employed by BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee and is a member of Calera Baptist Church in Calera, Ala. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Faye Spears of Cedartown and Lucille Eaves of Trion, Ga. Mr. Eaves graduated from Armuchee High School in Armuchee, Ga. He is employed by Signal Machine Inc. in Ringgold, Ga., and is a member of Garrett’s Chapel in Chickamauga.

Erin Elise Campbell became the bride of Christopher David Lowe on Sunday, Dec. 21, at the Fairyland Club. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Clifford Herd. The bride is the daughter of Robert and Gwen Campbell of Cleveland, Tenn. Parents of the bridegroom are Randy and Melinda Lowe of Chattanooga. Rachel Albritton was the honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Becca Kreiner, Grace Line and Amber Sheets. Matt Lowe served as best man. Groomsmen were Christian Siler, Howard Hale and Yoni Maslan. A reception was held at the Fairyland Club. The couple took a Caribbean wedding cruise. They reside in Winston-Salem, N.C.

The bride is the daughter of David and Diane Abercrombie of Dunlap, Tenn., and Brad and Janet Tanner of Hixson. Parents of the bridegroom are Randy and Kimberly Lewis of Hixson and Bobby Stokes of Red Bank. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Bethany Boyd was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lora Crawford, Christin Walker, Haley Gentry and Chelsea Vicry. The junior bridesmaid was Leslie Lewis, sister of the bridegroom. The flower girl was Reagan Boyd. Mr. Stokes served as best man for his son. Groomsmen were Tosh Tanner, brother of the bride, Nico Johnson, Matthew Arney and Casey Stokes, brother of the bridegroom. The ring bearer was Gabe Abercrombie. A reception was held at the Chattanoogan. The couple took a wedding trip to Boone, N.C.
