Allender and Rantz

The engagement of Jennifer Ann Allender and Joshua David Rantz is announced today. The bride is the daughter of David and Ruth Allender. Parents of the bridegroom are Jake and Dianne Rantz. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Nov. 28, at Maple Grove Baptist Church in Harrison. The future bride is the granddaughter of Teddy Allender and Wilson and Margaret Caudill, all of Indianapolis. Miss Allender received LPN certification from Chattanooga State Community College. She is a member of Cleveland First Baptist Church, and is employed as an LPN. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Ralph and Gert Murphy of Cincinnati. Mr. Rantz received an associate’s degree in business management from Chattanooga State Community College, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bryan College. He is a member of Cleveland First Baptist Church, and is employed as a plant operator by Eastside Utilities.

Hales and Walliser

The engagement of Jaclyn Nicole Hales and Luke Andrew Walliser is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Brenda Christian and Clay Hales. Parents of the future bridegroom are the Rev. Tony and Susan Walliser. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Jan. 16, at Silverdale Baptist Church, where both are members. The future bride is the granddaughter of Jack C. Smith, the late Rosa Jo Smith, LaVerne Hales of Goldsboro, N.C., and the late Kenneth Hales. Miss Hales is a graduate of Ooltewah High School. She is pursuing a degree in political science at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Edwin and Connie Walliser of Wimauma, Fla., and Bernard and Fay Mileur of Saddler, Texas. Mr. Walliser is a graduate of Silverdale Baptist Academy and of Commercial Diving Academy in Jacksonville, Fla. He is employed as a commercial diver by Underwater Construction Corp. of Chattanooga.

The engagement of Jennifer Harris and W. Eugene Smith is announced today. The bride is the daughter of Wymer and Bobbie Harris of Fyffe, Ala. Parents of the future bridegroom are Betty Jean Smith and the late M.W. Smith. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Jan. 30, at Highway Church of God in Fyffe, where the bride-elect is a member. The future bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordie Freeman and Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Harris, all of Fyffe. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mertice Pearce Higgins. Mr. Smith is a member of Clifton Hill Baptist Church, and is employed in health care.

The engagement of Alyssa Dawn Headrick and Daniel Wayne Guess is announced today. The bride is the daughter of Justin and Cindy Kirk of Memphis and Wayne and Joyce McAllister of Sherwood, Tenn. Parents of the future bridegroom are James and Brenda Barnard, and Jerry Wayne Guess, all of Bridgeport, Ala. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Nov. 28, at Bridgeport Church of Christ. The future bride is the granddaughter of William Headrick of Dunlap, Tenn., and the late Jackye Headrick. Miss Headrick is a graduate of North Jackson High School. She received a degree in cosmetology from Northeast Community College. She is a member of Edgefield Church of Christ of Bridegport, and is employed by Smart Style in Scottsboro, Ala. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Patricia Hambrick, the late James Hambrick, June Guess, the late Gene Guess, and Katherine Hickman, all of Bridgeport. Mr. Guess is a graduate of North Jackson High School. He attended Snead State Community College and Southeast Electrical Lineman School. He is a member of Carmel Missionary Baptist Church of Bridgeport, and is employed by Charter Communications.

Kincaid and Clark

The engagement of Emily Faith Kincaid and Robert Frank Clark is announced today. The bride is the daughter of Joey and Becky Kincaid of Etowah, Tenn. Parents of the future bridegroom are Len and Brenda Johnson. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Dec. 5, at First Christian Church. The future bride is the granddaughter of Joe Ben and Faye Kincaid, and the late Marie McAllister. Miss Kincaid is a graduate of McMinn Central High School. She is a student at Covington Theological Seminary, where she pursuing a degree in Christian counseling. She is a member of Grace Calvary Chapel, and is employed as an administrative assistant by Senior Solutions. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Ann Judd and the late Frank Judd. He is the great-grandson of Lorene Posey. Mr. Clark graduated from Hamilton County Middle College at Chattanooga State, and received an associate’s degree in graphic design from Chattanooga State Community College. He is a student at Covington Theological Seminary, where he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in theology and a master’s degree in divinity. He is youth minister at Grace Calvary Chapel.

Pancake and Koehl

The engagement of Blaire Ashley Pancake and Wade Philip Koehl is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Debbie Eakin Pancake and the late Dr. Bruce D. Pancake. Parents of the future bridegroom are George and DiAnn Koehl of Midland, Texas. A private ceremony is planned for Sunday, Jan. 3, in Patten Chapel on the campus of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jim and Suzie Eakin, Margie Pancake of Gatlinburg, Tenn., and the late Jack Pancake. Miss Pancake is a graduate of Baylor School. She received a bachelor’s degree summa cum laude, in anthropology from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where she was Phi Beta Kappa. She is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration from UTC. She was Miss Tennessee 2006 and former spokesperson for Gov. Phil Bredesen’s Safe & Drug-Free Tennessee program. She is a member of First Presbyterian Church, and is employed as a model. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Dr. Sidney and Darlene Schmidt of Abilene, Texas, and the late George and Margy Koehl. Mr. Koehl is a graduate of Midland High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in finance and a master’s degree in health and human performance from the University of Houston, where he was a member of the football team, and received a Liberty Bowl Scholar Athlete Award. He is a member of First Baptist Church of Midland, and is employed by Anthem Oil and Gas.

The engagement of Amanda Lorene Peckinpaugh and Justin Lynn Ozment is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Todd Peckinpaugh, the late Sue Peckinpaugh, and Kim Delashmitt. She received LPN certification and an associate’s degree in health services management from Chattanooga State Community College, where she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society. She is a member of River of Life Church, and is employed as a nurse. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Buford Ozment of Rome Ga., the late Nana Lee Ozment, and Dan and Peggy Ware of Ellijay. Miss Spahn is a graduate of Girls Preparatory School. She received a bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutics and a doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Mississippi, where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She is employed as a pharmacist by Walgreen Co. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Charles Whitman of Panama City Beach, Fla., the late Amelia Whitman, and the late Edgar and Carmel Paris of Atlanta. Mr. Paris is a graduate of McCallie School. He received a bachelor’s degree in risk management/insurance and economics from the University of Georgia. He is employed in marketing and development by Johnson & Johnson Insurance Co.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. N. Douglas Barron Jr. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Charlie N. Gray II of Camden, Tenn. Katherine Long was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mary Barron, Rachel Barron, Jill Ayn Gray and Annie Naik. John Engbers served as best man. Groomsmen were Doug Woodall, Daniel Morrison, Andrew Purcell and Dustin Pierce. A reception was held at the Sheraton Read House. The couple reside in Knoxville.

The bride is the daughter of Nicholas and Gayle Cleghorn. Parents of the bridegroom are Peggy Huie and the late Gary Huie. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Cherish Hamill, sister of the bride was matron of honor. Opal Jones was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lauren Domer, Becca Houts, Diane Kirkpatrick, Carolyn Madden, Maegan McAfee, Rachel Newsome and Cherub Rogers. Junior bridesmaids were Lexie Link, Madeleine Longshore, Angelica Rogers and Madison Smith. Lili Link and Carolina Mae Sams were flower girls. Gary Huie served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Pierre Dabit, Adam Gammill, Jacky Godwin, David LeLeaux, James Madden and Kevin Martin. Riley Madden was ring bearer. Shea Longshore II, Isaiah McAfee, Jack Longshore and Jason Hamill were also members of the wedding party. A reception was held at the church. After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, the couple reside in this city.
