Cooper and Potter

The engagement of Sharon Elizabeth Cooper and Jeffrey David Potter is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mike and Denise Cooper. Parents of the future bridegroom are Jim and Judy Potter of Darnestown, Md. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Oct. 10, at Christ Cathedral in Nashville. The future bride is the granddaughter of Norma Cooper. Ms. Cooper is a graduate of Girls Preparatory School. She received a bachelor’s degree in music business from Belmont University. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Jack and June Beckwermert. Mr. Potter is a graduate of Episcopal High School. He received a bachelor’s degree from Salisbury University, and is self-employed as a musician.

Daugherty and Forgette

The engagement of Erin Priscilla Daugherty and Justin Warren Forgette is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Bruce and Vicki Daugherty. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mark and Sherla Forgette of East Barre, Vt. The wedding is planned for Friday, Sept. 25, at Mountain Oaks Wedding Chapel in Ooltewah. The future bride is the granddaughter of Helen Scealf, the late Charles Scealf, Litton and Audrie Daugherty of Oliver Springs, Tenn. Ms. Daugherty is a graduate of Grace Baptist Academy. She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bryan College, and a master’s degree in professional counseling from Psychological Studies Institute. She is a member of Woodland Park Baptist Church, and is employed as a social services representative for Parkridge Valley Hospital. The future bridegroom is the grandson of the late Joe and Gilberte Forgette and the late Warren and Angela Melendy. Mr. Forgette is a graduate of Websterville Baptist Christian School. He received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bryan College, and a master’s degree in professional counseling from Richmont Graduate University. He a member of Orange Alliance Church in Orange, Vt., and is employed as a recreation assistant at Ridgedale Baptist Church.

Hall and Byrge

The engagement of Kelli Leigh Hall and Bradley Shane Byrge is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Chris and Barbie Hall of Dayton, Tenn. Parents of the future bridegroom are Robin Byrge of Coalfield, Tenn., and the late Cleteth Byrge. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Sept. 26, at Garrison Baptist Church in Dayton, where both are members. The future bride is the granddaughter of Linda Hall, the late Bill Hutchins, Janet Hall, the late Curt Hall, the late Betty Shaver and Olin Shaver. Ms. Hall is a graduate of Rhea County High School. She is employed by the Tennessee Department of Human Services. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Fred and Charlene Patterson of Coalfield, and the late Becky and Obal Byrge. Mr. Byrge is a graduate of Coalfield High School, and is employed as an assistant manager for Shoe Sensations in Dayton.

Ramey and Benson

The engagement of Stephanie Marie Ramey and Jeffery Michael Benson is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Malcom and Tiffany Ramey and Randy and Cynthia Hughes of Ringgold, Ga. Parents of the future bridegroom are Tim and Brenda Benson. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Little Brown Church on Signal Mountain. Ms. Ramey is a student at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance. Mr. Benson is serving in the United States Navy, stationed in King’s Bay, Ga.

Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. A. Leon Thornton Jr. of San Antonio, Texas. The wedding is planned for Saturday, March 6, at Gladeville Baptist Church in Gladeville, Tenn., where the future bridegroom is a member. The future bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fredrick A. Lowe Jr. of Hermitage, Tenn., Mary Anne Carlock of Cleveland, Tenn., Dodie Hamilton of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin E. Rhea. Ms. Rhea received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is a member of Westwood Baptist Church in Cleveland, and is employed as an intern at Payroll Professionals of Tennessee. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Arvin L. Thornton Sr. of Latch, Texas, Bobbie F. Thornton of Gatesville, Texas, and Sarah Michiels of San Antonio. Mr. Thornton received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Baylor University, and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Vanderbilt University. He is employed as an electrical engineer.

Mr. Grassmick received bachelor’s degrees in audio engineering from Full Sail University and mechanical engineering from Tennessee State University. He is employed as a mechanical engineer.

She is a member of Red Bank Baptist Church, and is employed as a pharmacist at Kingwood Pharmacy. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Donna Caraccio of Summerfield, Fla., the late Michael Caraccio, Mozelle Katz of Leesburg, Fla., and the late Jack Katz. Mr. Caraccio is a graduate of Central High School. He attended UTC, and received a doctor of pharmacy degree from Samford University. He is a member of Red Bank Baptist Church, and is a teacher at East Ridge High School.
