The engagement of Stephanie Michelle Allen and Brian Christopher Payne is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Gerri Allen of West Chester, Ohio, and Mr. and Mrs. Gary W. Allen of Maineville, Ohio. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. ad Mrs. John Helton and Mr. and Mrs. Chris Payne. The wedding is planned for Saturday, June 5, in Mason, Ohio. The future bride is the granddaughter of Dolores Allen, the late Thomas Allen and the late Carlo Gilbert and Ethel Gilbert. Miss Allen received a bachelor’s degree in communications, from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. She is a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, and is employed as a marketing coordinator. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mary Cousino, the late Jerry Cousino, Jeanette Payne, the late James Payne, and Jim and Jane Helton. Mr. Payne received a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from Miami University. He is a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church.

The engagement of Micah Lauren Berry and Trent Logue Mynatt is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Berry. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Mynatt. The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 15, at Red Bank Church of Christ, where both are members. The future bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Carnes, Marcelene Sumerel of Florence, Ala., and Mr. and Mrs. James Berry of Haleyville, Ala. Miss Berry received a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s degree in exercise physiology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is employed at the Chattanooga Lifestyle Center and Hamilton County Sessions Court. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Johnnie Perry, the late Mr. and Mrs. Norman Mynatt and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Logue. Mr. Mynatt attended Freed Hardeman University. He is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business management at Bryan College. He is employed by the Sports Barn in Hixson.

The future bridegroom is the grandson of William H. and Thelma White, Otha L. Hewitt of Lake Charles, La., and the late Roy Hewitt. Mr. White received a bachelor’s degree from Harding University and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee. He is a member of East Brainerd Church of Christ, and is a dentist in Shelbyville, Tenn.

Anne Rutherford McLachlan became the bride of Jared Glenn Butler in a ceremony on Saturday, March 20, at Waterhouse Pavilion. Dr. Robert Glasgow Patterson performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Braly III and Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. McLachlan Jr. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Glenn Butler of Cypress Inn, Tenn. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Frances Katharine McLachlan and Taylor Myers McLachlan were their sister’s attendants. The bridegroom’s attendants were Melodie Patterson, John Attaway and Cory Farris. Following a reception, the couple took a wedding trip to Ireland. They reside in this city.
