Askew and Morgan

The engagement of Morgan Kacy Askew and Christopher Dale Morgan is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Kyle and Kay Askew. Parents of the future bridegroom are Doyle and Diane Morgan of Flintstone, Ga. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Aug. 28, at Lookout Valley Baptist Church, where both are members. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Martha Askew, Anita Hicks, Louise Twyman and Hoyle King. Miss Askew received a bachelor¹s degree in child and family studies from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is employed as a volunteer/ bereavement coordinator by Caris Healthcare. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Quinn and Pauline Morgan, all of Flintstone. Mr. Morgan is a graduate of Ridgeland High School. He is employed as a service adviser by Long Mercedes Benz.

The engagement of Anne Peyton Campeau and Robert Lincoln Griffin is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mrs. James Campeau and the late Mr. Campeau. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Steve Brown of Fayetteville, Ga. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Oct. 9, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, where the future bride is a member. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward A. Ingle. Miss Campeau received a bachelor¹s degree in polymer and fiber engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She is employed as a development engineer by ExxonMobil Chemical. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mrs. Karl Braun of Lompoc, Calif. Mr. Griffin received a bachelor¹s degree in chemical and biomolecular engineering and a master¹s degree in chemical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, where he was a member of Delta Chi Fraternity. He is a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fayetteville, and is employed as a design engineer by ExxonMobil Chemical.

The engagement of Rachel Christine Carboni and Adam Ross Baldwin is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Colleen Donovan Carboni and Kenneth and Sharon Carboni. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lucille Carboni, the late Omero Carboni and Dennis and Dolly Donovan of Nashville. Miss Carboni is a graduate of Red Bank High School. She received a bachelor¹s degree in nursing from East Tennessee State University. She is a registered nurse in the surgical intensive care unit at Memorial Hospital. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Baldwin Sr. of Rockingham, N.C., and the late Thad L. and Minnie B. Maner. Mr. Baldwin is a graduate of McMinn County High School. He received a bachelor¹s degree in criminal justice from ETSU and a master¹s degree from UTC.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Thelma Eckert of Alden and the late Charles Eckert. Miss Eckert is a graduate of Alden Central School. She received a degree in psychology from Canisius College. She is employed as a research assistant in genome sequencing, at Hudson Alpha in Huntsville, Ala. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Joyce Tiller of Richmond, Va., the late Kenneth Tiller, Myrtle Lockard of Roanoke, Va., and the late Paul Webber. Mr. Webber is a graduate of Baylor School. He received a bachelor's degree in biology from Clemson University, where he was a member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. He is head swim coach with the Huntsville Swim Association.

Mr. Pavlis received a forest resource management degree from West Virginia University and an urban forestry degree from Virginia Tech. He is an arborist in Savannah.

The future bridegroom is the grandson of the late Paul and Sue Eakin, Margaret Kuhn of Portsmouth, Ohio, and the late John Kuhn. Mr. Kuhn received a bachelor's degree in hotel, restaurant and tourism management from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, and completed an advanced culinary arts program at Culinary Institute of America. He is sushi pantry chef for Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto¹s restaurant in Napa.

Mr. Nunley received a bachelor's degree in environmental chemistry and a master's degree in engineering management from UTC He is a member of City Church and is employed in technical marketing by INVISTA.

The bride is the daughter of Bruce G. O'Neal and Jacqueline W. O'Neal. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Michael J. Benson of Marietta, Ga. Lisa Benson was matron of honor. Julie Nguyen was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kendra Howard, Tiara B. Johnson, Carrie McNeal, Crystal Moore, Joycelyn Morris and Bethany Williams. Drew Maclaine Abrams and Eliora Nicole Davis were flower girls. Evan Benson and Alan Bray were best men. Groomsmen were Douglas Duncan, M. Toryn Lankford, Horace Polite, Cliff Rogers, Travaris Russell and Brandon Souder. Henson O'Neal Davis was ring bearer. A reception was held at the Four Seasons. The couple took a wedding trip to Sandals Resort in the Bahamas. The reside in New Orleans.
