Gadd and Headrick

The engagement of Bonnie Melissa Gadd and Blaine Horton Headrick is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Gwendolyn Bryan and Alex R. Gadd of Pikeville, Tenn. The future bridegroom is the son of Shari Horton of Cleveland, Tenn. The wedding is planned for Friday, March 27, at the Fillauer lake house in Cleveland. The future bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Lee Massengill, and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Gadd of Pikevillle. Miss Gadd is a graduate of Bledsoe High School and Chattanooga State Community College. She is a member of Bryan Seventh-Day Adventist Church, and is employed by McKee Health Resource Center. The future bridegroom is the grandson of the late Margaret and Herman “Fat” Horton of Cleveland. Mr. Headrick is a graduate of Cleveland High School, Chattanooga State Community College, and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He is a member of Cleveland First United Methodist Church, and is employed as a photographer by WTVC Channel 9.

Rudd and Parkes

The engagement of Rebecca Robin Rudd and Andrew Douglas Parkes is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robin Rudd. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Parkes Jr. The wedding is planned for Saturday, April 24, at St.Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church in Cleveland, Tenn., where both are members. Miss Rudd is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Mahoney and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rudd. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Parkes Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Paquette. Mr. Parkes is a student at Tennessee Technological University, where he is pursuing a degree in chemical engineering.

The engagement of Cassandra Lynn Tran and Kevin Stephen Rose is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Loc Huu Tran Sr. of Cleveland, Tenn., and Jenny and James Henderson McMahon VI. Parents of the future bridegroom are Dr. Elliot Rose and Laura Rose. The wedding is planned for Sunday, May 30, on the Walnut Street Bridge. The future bride is the granddaughter of Marilyn Pippin of Cleveland. Miss Tran is a graduate of Bradley Central High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She attends Collegedale Community Church. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Helen Conner of Cordele, Ga. Mr. Rose is a graduate of Ooltewah High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Georgia, and a master’s degree in taxation from Georgia State University. He is a CPA with Frazier and Deeter in Atlanta.

Weeks and McAllister

The engagement of Carrell Elizabeth Weeks and Bradley James McAllister is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilburn Carrell Weeks. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Lee Hilton Schilling and Mr. and Mrs. James Lamar McAllister of Acworth, Ga. The wedding is planned for Saturday, March 6, at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Natchitoches, La. The future bride is the granddaughter of Bonnie Lee Peel, the late Charles Harold Allen and Mr. and Mrs. Wilburn Carrell Weeks Sr. Miss Weeks graduated from Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts. She received bachelor’s degrees in engineering sciences and mechanical engineering from Dartmouth College. She received a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Tech Technical College. She is employed as a senior aeronautical engineer by Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co. in Marietta, Ga. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William Howell Ramsey of Clarksville, Ga. Mr. McAllister is a graduate of McCallie School. He received a bachelor’s degree in English literature and political science at Southwestern University, and a master’s degree in conflict, development and security from the University of Leeds, England. He is a Ph.D candidate in international affairs at the University of Georgia, where he is employed as a lecturer.

Amy Catherine Sikes became the bride of Samuel Luis Delgado in a ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Union Station Hotel in Nashville. The Rev. Aaron Martin performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip A. McAfee and James C. Sikes. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Edgar L. Delgado of Jenks, Okla. Bailey Tate was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Katie Smith, Lindsey Gardner, Hannah Bush, Mackenzie Behel, Roxana McVay and Bailey Reeves. Barrett Newsome served as best man. Seth Gustafson, Josh Rehanek, Manuel Calvin, Steven Sikes, Wade Andrews and Rafy Santiago were groomsmen. A reception was held at the Union Station Hotel. The couple took a wedding trip to Palm Island in the Grenadines. They reside in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

The future bride is the granddaughter of Betty Jean Blackburn of Dayton, the late Gary Blackburn, and the late Marvin and Juanita Hubbard. Miss Hubbard received a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and a master’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She is employed by the federal government. The future bridegroom is the grandson of the late Harold and Jean Walls and the late Dominick and Emilia DeAntonio. Mr. DeAntonio received a bachelor’s degree in human development from Pennsylvania State University, and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Pittsburgh. He is employed as a clinical coordinator.
