Autry and Forrester

The engagement of Meghan Marie Autry and Joshua David Forrester is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Tad and Melanie Autry of Flintstone, Ga. Parents of the future bridegroom are David and Cathy Forrester of Flintstone. The wedding is planned for Saturday, June 12, at Mountain Oaks Wedding Chapel. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mary and George Mayo Sr. and the late Doris and Fred Autry. Miss Autry is a graduate of Ridgeland High School. She is pursuing a nursing degree at Dalton State College. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Garnett and Kathleen Forrester of Flintstone, Carvey Thompson of High Point, Ga., and the late Genevieve Thompson. Mr. Forrester is a graduate of Ridgeland High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University and teaching certification from the University of Georgia. He is a teacher at Chattanooga Valley Middle School.

Hixon and Wade

The engagement of Amber Rose Hixon and Robert Owen Wade Jr. is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Brenda C. Hixon of Rossville, Ga., and the late Richard S. Hixon. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Owen Wade Sr. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Aug. 21, at Brainerd Baptist Church, where the future bridegroom is a member. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Norma Hixon of Chickamauga, Ga., the late David Hixon, and the late Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Kirk. Miss Hixon is a member of South Rossville Baptist Church, and is employed by Serodino, Inc. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Doris Wade, the late Owen Wade, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lee Pope III. Mr. Wade is employed by city of East Ridge.

The engagement of Amanda Elise Paul and Tyler Lusk Williams is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Marius “Mott” and Star Miller Fraterman, and the late Garry Paul of Chickamauga, Ga. Parents of the future bridegroom are Sherry and Mark Williams of Rossville, Ga. The wedding is planned for Saturday, July 17, at Elizabeth Lee United Methodist Church in Chickamauga. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Fonza Miller Barkley, the late Willard Miller, and Mary and Fred Paul. Miss Paul is a graduate of Lakeview Christian Academy. She is a member of Lake Hills Church of Christ, and is employed as a sales clerk by Rue 21. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Williams of Pikeville, Tenn., and Sharon Zurakowski of Michigan. Mr. Williams is a graduate of Ridgeland High School. He is a member of Lake Hills Church of Christ, and is employed as a heating and air technician by Ace Refrigeration.

Harris and Ford

Lisa Jean Harris became the bride of Joseph Keith Ford in a ceremony on Saturday, June 5, at the home of the bridegroom’s mother. The Rev. Ed Gilstrap performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Linda Dye of Augusta, Ga., and LaMar Harris of LaFayette, Ga. Parents of the bridegroom are Mary and Stan Crawley and the late Joseph Ford. Somer Brocksmith was matron of honor. Brianna Adams was a bridesmaid. Williams Ford acted as best man. Stan Crawley was a groomsman. A reception was held at the Crawley home. After a wedding trip to Asheville, N.C., the couple will reside in this city.

Abigail Jean Locke became the bride of Kevin Mason Sullivan in a ceremony on Saturday, March 27, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church. The Rev. Rob Sullivan performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Locke of Ringgold, Ga. Parents of the bridegroom are Joan Sullivan and the late Capt. Robert Patton Sullivan. Elisabeth Locke was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mary Kathleen Locke, Robin Sullivan and Casey Sullivan. Kaitlyn Sullivan was the flower girl. Ryan Sullivan served as best man. Groomsmen were Will Locke, Douglas Locke and Daniel Troutman. Aaron Hilliard was the ring bearer. A reception was held at the church. After a wedding trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., the couple reside in Ringgold.

Miss Barnes is a graduate of Marion County High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from David Lipscomb University. She is employed by Amedisys Hospice. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Ann King, the late Thomas King, the late Luther Blevins, the late Bertha Blevins, Alma Moreland and the late Wilbur Moreland. Mr. Blevins is a graduate of South Pittsburg High School. He is employed by the Marion County Sheriff’s Department.

Batson of Clarksville. Mr. Vaden is a graduate of Clarksville High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in environmental geology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He is a member of New Liberty Baptist Church, and is employed by Mesa Associates Inc.

Jordan Elise Campbell became the bride of Derrick Michael Raley in a ceremony on Thursday, May 13, at The Grandview on Lookout Mountain. The Rev. Ed LeCompte performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Janet McInturff and Mac Campbell Jr. Jennifer Campbell Baggett was matron of honor and Destiny Schrimpsher was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelly Blackwood and Shelley MacKinnon. Mark Voeltzke served as best man. Groomsmen were Patrick Benneyworth, Bradley Campbell and Wesley Blackwood. A reception was held at The Grandview. The couple took a wedding trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla. They reside in Murfeesboro, Tenn.
