The engagement of Emily Lucille Adams and Gray Stevens Fuller is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Douglas Adams. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Larry Paul Fuller of Austin, Texas. The wedding is planned for Saturday, June 4, at Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church, where the bride-elect is a member. Miss Adams received a bachelor’s degree in communications (advertising major) from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where she was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. She is employed in advertising sales by Seventeen magazine. Mr. Fuller received a bachelor’s degree in communications (advertising major) from UTK, where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He is a member of University Avenue Church of Christ in Austin Texas, and is employed in advertising sales by ASMALLWORLD.net.

Blevins and Wolfford

The engagement of Lauren Ashley Blevins and Garrett Wayne Wolfford is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Gregory A. and Pamela D. Blevins. Parents of the future bridegroom are Stephen C. and Kimberly Wolfford of Orange, Texas. The wedding is planned for Saturday, April 9, in Evensville, Tenn. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Alma Schillhahn and Felix and Sandra Blevins of Dunlap, Tenn. Miss Blevins is a graduate of Appalachian State University and a member of Hixson United Methodist Church. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Buddy and Kate Wolfford of Orange. The engagement of the Rev. Amy Jo Cook and Robert Whatley is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of James Robert and Peggy Jo Cook of Stamping Ground, Ky. Parents of the future bridegroom are Tom and Emmalee Whatley of Macon, Ga. The wedding is planned for Saturday, April 30, at White Oak United Methodist Church. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Rachel Pauline Cook of Sadieville, Ky. The Rev. Cook received a bachelor’s degree in English with teaching certification from Eastern Kentucky University, where she was a member of Sigma Tau Delta honor society and was an officer and intern at The Wesley Foundation. She received a master of divinity from Asbury Seminary. She is lead pastor at White Oak United Methodist Church. Mr. Whatley received a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering at Southern Polytechnic State University. He is a member of Vineville United Methodist Church in Macon and is planning and materials manager at Farley’s and Sather’s Candy Co.

Griffith and Carpenter

The engagement of Whitney Elizabeth Griffith and Thomas Justin Carpenter is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Sondra and Vance Griffith. Parents of the future bridegroom are Loretta and Jerry Carpenter. The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 21, in Patten Chapel on the campus of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Alma Bennett of Calhoun, Ga., the late James Lusk and the late Ed and Edna Griffith. Miss Griffith is a graduate of Soddy-Daisy High School. She received an associate’s degree in dental assisting from Chattanooga State Community College. She is a member of Burks United Methodist Church and is employed by Smiles of Chattanooga. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Tommy Carpenter, the late Marie Carpenter and the late Izola and Bill Crabtree. Mr. Carpenter is a graduate of Soddy-Daisy High School. He is working toward a bachelor’s degree in nursing from UTC. He is a member of Burks United Methodist Church.

The engagement of Kaylee Elizabeth Milliard and Charles Raymond Agin is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Bonnie K. and John B. Milliard. Parents of the future bridegroom are Linda and Tim Shepherd of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Charles and Annette Agin of Dothan, Ala. Miss Milliard graduated from Soddy-Daisy High School, and plans to receive a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Tennessee Technical University, where she is a member of Phi Mu Sorority. She is a member of Christ United Methodist Church and is a member of the Army National Guard. Mr. Agin received a bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University. He is serving in the United States Air Force.

The couple took a wedding trip to Mayan Riviera, Mexico They reside in Knoxville.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Ashley Farless, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amy Davis, Dina Rabin and Caitlin Sackman. Mr. MacGregor served his son as best man. Groomsmen were Hugh Davis, Scott MacGregor and Chase Nelson. A reception was held at the Birmingham Museum of Art. After a wedding trip to Mexico, the couple reside in Birmingham.
