Bayless and Yaw

The engagement of Codee Lynn Bayless and Jared Scott Yaw is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Tracy and Susan Bayless. Parents of the future bridegroom are Jeff and Nita Yaw of Cincinnati, Ohio. The wedding is planned for Saturday, April 30, at Lindsay Street Hall. Miss Bayless is a graduate of Girls Preparatory School. She received a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She is a site optimization specialist. Mr. Yaw received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Ohio State University and a master’s degree in educational psychology from UTK, where he is a doctoral candidate.

She received a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is employed as a sales analyst at Burner Systems International. Mr. Bonner graduated from Ooltewah High School and attended UTC. He is employed by Sherwin Williams Co.

The future bridegroom is the grandson of Dr. Donald C. Fehr Sr. of Thomaston, Ga., the late Peggy Fehr, and Gregory and Marian Kergosien Bay of St. Louis, Miss. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Wanda Butts of Harpers Ferry, West Va., the late Charles Butts, and Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Frazier of Charlestown, W. Va. Mr. Frazier is a graduate of Sherando High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration, cum laude, from Lee University, where he was a member of Alpha Gamma Chi Fraternity. He received a master’s degree in business administration, cum laude, from Lipscomb University. He is a training coordinator at Chick-fil-A’s corporate headquarters in Atlanta.

Jessica Ann Swanger became the bride of Brandon Scott Crews in a ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 9, at Brainerd Baptist Church. The Rev. Robby Gallaty performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Barbara Swanger and Michael Swanger. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Gary Crews. Nicole Swanger was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kaycee Crews, Carolyn Wadley, Heather Prairie, Meredith Cox and Jessica Chase. Julia Hendrix, Ashlin Lowry, Addie Cheatwood and Emma Crews were flower girls. Mr. Crews served his son as best man. Groomsmen were Josh Brister, Jon Johnson, Robert Hetrick, Mitch Templeton and Bart Smith. A reception was held at Brainerd Crossroads. After a wedding trip to the mountains, the couple reside in this city.

Groomsmen were Ross Purcell, Zac Beam, Ryan Houston, Ryan Edwards, Tyler Livingston, Chris Burdine and Justin Lee. A reception was held at Mountain Oaks Wedding Chapel. The couple took a wedding trip to Townsend, Tenn. They reside in this city.
