Cauthorn and Aiken

The engagement of Amie Rena Cauthorn and John Robert Gaither Aiken is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Cauthorn and Avena Lewis. Parents of the future bridegroom are Dr. and Mrs. Robert Aiken. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Sept. 10, at Rivermont Presbyterian Church, where the future bridegroom is a member. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Cauthorn of Dothan, Ala. and Avena Dupree of Enterprise, Ala. Miss Cauthorn is pursuing a pre-dental degreeat Chattanooga State Community College. She is employed at Imax 3D Theater. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Lorraine Aiken and Mary Gaither. Mr. Aiken attended Chattanooga State Community College.

Hixon and Pribble

The engagement of Brooke Allison Hixon and Jonathan Hugh Pribble is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Wayne and Holly Hixon, and Judy and Larry James. Parents of the future bridegroom are Randy and Barbara Pribble of Woolrich, Pa. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Oct.1, at Walnut Hill Farm in Dalton, Ga. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Howard Phillips, the late Bertha Brandon, and the late John and Kathleen Hixon. Miss Hixon is a graduate of Girls Preparatory School. She received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Augusta State University. She is a member of Woodland Park Baptist Church and employed in human resources by MAU Workforce Solutions. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Chester and Ellen Pribble, and the late George and Anne Finney. Mr. Pribble is a graduate of Central Mountain High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Lycoming College. He is a member of Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church, and is a consultant for Total Comfort Solutions.

Lomenick and Ellinor

The engagement of Laura Caroline Lomenick and Mark Robert Ellinor is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Kathy Ryan and Loren Lomenick. The future bridegroom is the son of Karen Griffiths of Plymouth, England. The wedding is planned for Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Spirit of Aloha Oceanfront Botanical Gardens in Maui, Hawaii. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dr. Eugene Ryan of South Pittsburg, Tenn., the late Juanita Ryan, Marion Lomenick and the late Stanley Lomenick. Miss Lomenick received a bachelor’s degree in organismal biology, summa cum laude, from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is a zookeeper at the Chattanooga Zoo. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Janet Powell and Harry Lenihan, both of England. Mr. Ellinor received a degree in electrical engineering from Plymouth College. He is a property developer.

The engagement of Miranda Kay Moorer and Michael Anthony Lovelace is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Tina Goins and the late Hezekiah Moorer. Parents of the future bridegroom are Patricia Malone-Lovelace and James Lovelace. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Sept. 3, at First Christian Church. Miss Moorer is a graduate of Howard School of Academics and Technology. She received a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She is assistant property manager for Pennrose Property Management Co. Mr. Lovelace is a graduate of East Ridge High School. He received an associate’s degree in accounting from Chattanooga State Community College and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He is a member of Rock Island Baptist Church and is employed as a service manager at FedEx.

The engagement of Elizabeth Cahill Morton and Alan Joseph Morris Doak is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. Morton. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. L. Jason Morris III, and the late Steven Lee Doak. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Oct. 15, at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church, where the bride-elect is a member. The future bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hugh A. Brown, A.O. “Bill” Morton and the late Geraldine Gilley Morton. Miss Morton is a graduate of Girls Preparatory School. She received a bachelor’s degree in middle school education from the University of Georgia, where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She teaches school in Atlanta. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Decosimo, Mr. and Mrs. William L. Doak of Atlanta, Mrs. L.J. Morris Jr. and the late Mr. Morris. Mr. Doak is a graduate of McCallie School. He received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Georgia, where he was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He is a member of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Athens, Ga., and is employed as an accountant with Elliott Davis LLC in Charleston, S.C.
