Engagement

Jarrett and Scheffy

The engagement of Anna Elizabeth Jarrett and Scott Dalton Scheffy is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of James and Jan Jarrett. Parents of the future bridegroom are Lee and Lucy Scheffy of North Richland Hills, Texas. The wedding is planned for Saturday, April 16, in New Orleans, La. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Latnie and Margaret Brewton, and the late Emmanuel and Rosa Lee Jarrett. Miss Jarrett received a bachelor's degree in hospitality management from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where she was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. She is catering manager for Starwood Hotels and Resorts at the Sheraton Hotel in New Orleans. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Robert and June Scheffy of Baton Rouge, La., the late Dr. Dalton Oliver and the late Irene Manning Oliver. Mr. Scheffy received a bachelor's degree in finance from Louisiana State University. He is assistant vice president of capital markets at Whitney National Bank in New Orleans.

Ferrell and Drumm

The engagement of Kendell Noel Ferrell and Jonathan Aaron Drumm is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Christi and Will Ferrell of Lutherville, Md. Parents of the future bridegroom are Jane and Don Drumm. The wedding is planned for Saturday, April 23, on Signal Mountain. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Veronika Herman and Marguerite Wallace of Huntsville, Ala. Miss Ferrell received a bachelor's degree in communications from the College of Charleston, and is pursuing a master's degree in elementary and special education at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is a teacher, student, server. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Anne Drumm of Cumberland, Md. Mr. Drumm received bachelor's degrees in biology and nursing from UTC. He is a nurse.

Stagmaier and Fuge

The engagement of Erin Lindley Stagmaier and Jeffrey Charles Fuge Jr. is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Vicki and Kurt Stagmaier. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Allen Faries of Potomac, Md., and Manalapan, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Charles Fuge of Chevy Chase, Md. The wedding is planned for Saturday, April 2, in Palm Beach, Fla. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Juanita Malone, the late John Malone Jr., and the late Peggy Steele Stagmaier. Miss Stagmaier is a graduate of Baylor School. She received a bachelor's degree in international business from the College of Charleston. She is employed in sales by the Susan Gage Co. in Oxin Hills, Md. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Yardley Minnix Manfuso and the late John A. Manfuso. Mr. Fuge is a graduate of The Episcopal School. He received a bachelor's degree in history from the College of Charleston. He is vice president of institutional sales with B.G.B. Securities Inc. in Ballston, Va.

Turner and Arrington

Megan Brooke Turner became the bride of Jerry Arrington Jr. in a ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 16, at Chestnut Hill Estate. The Rev. Travis Rodgers performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Terry and Kay Turner. Parents of the bridegroom are Jerry and Kim Arrington Sr. and Don and Diane Hall of Augusta, Ga. Laura Vice was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Casteel, Meagen Higdon, Brittany Hixson, Megan Kaisner, Amanda Mansfield, April Riggs and Ana Worley. Alyse Allmond was the flower girl. The father of the bridegroom and Terry Arrington were best men. Groomsmen were Lance Arrington, Alberto Bazan, Caughey Hearn, Blake Turner, Preston Turner and Jason Wright. A reception was held at Chestnut Hill Estate. The couple took a wedding trip to St. Lucia. They reside in Augusta.

Williams and Shannon

The engagement of Amanda Grace Williams and James Phillip Shannon is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mark and Sherry Williams of Rossville, Ga. Parents of the future bridegroom are Jim and Shelvy Shannon of Rossville. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Jan. 22, at Rossville Church of Christ. Miss Williams graduated from Ridgeland High School and is pursuing a degree in dental hygiene at Chattanooga State Community College. She is a member of Chickamauga Church of Christ and employed in the office of Dr. J. Gallien. Mr. Shannon is a graduate of Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School. He received a bachelor's degree in business management from the University of Georgia. He is a member of Chickamauga Church of Christ and is assistant vice president and a branch manager at Northwest Georgia Bank.

Christie Nicole Smith became the bride of Kevin Benjamin Crowe in a ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 11, at Hixson First Baptist Church. The Rev. Myron Wilkins performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Robin and Bart Smith. Parents of the bridegroom are Paulette and Ronnie Crowe. Delaney Dodd was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were April Hoelke, Erika Morgan, Bevin Gracy, Kelley Daniel, Catherine Millard and Valerie Bronkema. Darcy Dodd and Tatiana McMahan were flower girls. Derek Parker served as best man. Groomsmen were Justin Smith, Devin Barker, Aaron Holt, Michael Fowler and Patrick Brock. A reception was held in Chester Frost Park Pavilion. The couple took a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn. They reside in this city.

The bride is the daughter of Kathy and Tommy West and Tressley Kerr. Parents of the bridegroom are Connie Cagle Massingill and Reid and Twilla Massingill of Beverly Hills, Fla. A reception was held at the pavilion. After a wedding trip to Biloxi, Miss., and New Orleans, the couple reside in Soddy-Daisy.

The bride is the daughter of Edward and Lea Frost. Parents of the bridegroom are Pat and Yvonne Tallant of Port Huron, Mich. Sara Bonner was maid of honor. Kauri Tallant was the bridesmaid. Emme Rooks and Carley Yarbourough were flower girls. Chip Yarbourough served as best man. Bart Smith was the groomsman and Blake Frost was the ring bearer. A reception was held at the Dent House. The couple spent their honeymoon aboard the Delta Queen. They reside in McDonald, Tenn.
