Colley and Dillard

The engagement of Jennifer Melissa Colley and Adam William Dillard is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Patricia Colley of Dallas, and the late Jack Colley. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Ronald B. Tawater. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Sept. 3, at Hyatt Lost Pines Spa and Resort in Bastrop, Texas. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alton Colley and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Atkins. Miss Colley received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Texas, and a master’s degree in journalism from Stanford University. She is a member of Highland Park Baptist Church in Austin, Texas, and is employed as director of content publishng at Stratfor Inc. in Austin. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Barbara J. Reichman, the late William H. Reichman, Edith F. Tawater of Raleigh, N.C., and the late Harold Tawater. Mr. Dillard is a graduate of L’Academie de Cuisine. He is a member of Highland Park Baptist Church in Austin, and is employed as a personal chef.

The engagement of Lori Renee Hope and Bryn Taylor Meredith is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Roma Stone and the late Daryl Hope. Parents of the future bridegroom are Dr. and Mrs. Gary Meredith. The wedding is planned for Saturday, July 30, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, where the future bridegroom is a member. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Tommy Smith, the late Faye Smith and the late Mr. and Mrs. Marion Hope. Miss Hope is a graduate of Valley Head High School. She received an associate’s degree in paralegal studies from Chattanooga State Community College. She is a member of Freedom Worship Center and is employed in the outpatient laboratory at Memorial Hospital. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pressley, Bernard Meredith of St. Louis, and the late Wilma Thomas. Mr. Meredith is a graduate of Notre Dame High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Rhodes College . He is a student at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, and is an ensign in the United States Naval Reserves.

The engagement of Katherine Anne “Katie” Rockwell and Joshua David Curtis is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman C. Rockwell. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Alvin Overbeek of Hamilton, Mich., and Mrs. Marvin Johnson of Zeeland, Mich. Mr. Overbeek received a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from Northwood University. He is employed as a Taco Bell manager with Tacala.

Dr. Richard Effinger,and Monsignor John J. Enzler performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Vicki and Kurt Stagmaier. Parents of the bridegroom are Susan and Thomas Faries of Potomac, Md. Lauren Shadrick, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Susan Allen Fuge was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Antonia Henderson, Jennifer Tew, Megan Hixon, Lily Crawford, Kate Wahl, Emily Debuys and Caroline Gardner. Anna Brantley Fuge was the flower girl. John Thomas Fuge served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Thomas Faries, Bret Thompson, Clark Appleby, Robert Bennett, Grant Gilbert, Scott Lee, Ryan O’Dwyer and Eric Ragland. Clark Shadrick was ringbearer. A reception was held at the Everglades Club in Palm Beach. After a wedding trip to Anguilla and St. Barths, the couple resides in Bethesda, Md.
