Ball and Jr.

The engagement of Tiffany S. Ball and Tyrone Lamb Jr. is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Karen W. Ashford and Gerald D. Ball. Parents of the future bridegroom are Robbin and Tyrone Lamb Sr. The wedding is planned for Saturday, July 9, at New Covenant Fellowship Church, where both are members. The bride-elect is the granddaughter Andrea and Henry Williams and Barbara and James Ball Sr. Miss Ball is a graduate of Tyner High School. She is a certified phlebotomist, EKG technician, therapy assistant, and X-ray operator. She is pursuing a nursing degree at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and is employed as a medical assistant. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Dorothy and Charles Toran of Cincinnati, and Betty and Robert Lamb Sr. of Chicago. Mr. Lamb is a graduate of Brainerd High School. He received certification as a clinical nephrology technician and is a chief technician for Chattanooga Kidney Centers.

Caldwell and Cake

The engagement of Elizabeth Chandlee Caldwell and Benjamin James Cake II is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. Hardwick Caldwell III. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. B. James Cake of Gwynedd Valley, Pa. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Oct. 8, at the home of the bride-elect’s parents. The future bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. Hardwick Caldwell Jr., the late Harriet Caldwell, the late Dr. Carl Stark and the late Katharine Stark. Miss Caldwell is a graduate of Girls Preparatory School. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of the South at Sewanee and a master’s degree from Middlebury College. She is a member of Church of the Good Shepherd, and is employed as an educational consultant by Trius Educational Advisors in New York City. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Benjamin F. Cake of Blue Bell, Pa. Mr. Cake is a graduate of William Penn Charter School in Philadelphia. He received a bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College. He is a member of Fifteenth Street Friend’s Meeting House in NYC, and is advertising editor for Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City.

The engagement of Jessica Bailey Daffron and Chase Teem is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Dr. Larry and Shari Stone of Ringgold, Ga. Parents of the future bridegroom are Gary and April Teem of Ringold. The wedding is planned for Saturday, June 11, at Spring Creek Road Baptist Church, where both are members. She received a bachelor’s degree in human ecology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is a member of New Covenant Fellowship Church and is a teacher in the Hamilton County school system. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Lula Edwards, the late Joseph Edwards and the late Mr. and Mrs. Steven Daniels. Mr. Daniels is a graduate of Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences. He received a bachelor’s degree in health and human performance and a master’s degree in sports administration from Austin Peay State University. He is olympic sports equipment manager for the University of Kansas in Lawrence.
