Lyons and Bevil

Heather Dawn Lyons became the bride of P. Christopher Bevil in a ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 17, at The Mayor’s Mansion. Bishop Chris Vaughn performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Randy and LaVonda Lyons. Parents of the bridegroom are Dick Bevil and Marshal Blaine. Alaina Peterson was the flower girl and Cameron Heilig was the junior groomsman. A reception was held at the Mayor’s Mansion. After a wedding trip to the Dominican Republic, the couple reside in this city.

Engagement

Alexandrou and Bodkin

The engagement of Stephanie Alexandrou and William Daniel Bodkin is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Haido Alexandrou of Nicosia Cyprus. Parents of the future bridegroom are Carol and Eddie Bodkin Jr. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Dec. 10, at Abba’s House, where the future bridegroom is a member. Miss Alexandrou received a bachelor’s degree in theater and telecommunication from Lee University. She is a graduate student at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles and a member of Alpha Psi Omega National Theater Honor Society. Mr. Bodkin is a graduate of Ooltewah High Scgool. He received a bachelor’s degree in pastoral ministry from Lee University.

Jenilee Nurnberger became the bride of Jeremy Giesel in a ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 8, at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Gary Schimmer performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Nurnberger III. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. David Giesel. Cassie Thomas was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Megan Giesel, Alexis Woodfin and Georgia Woodfin. Isabella Urani was the flower girl. Mr. Giesel served as his son’s best man. Groomsmen were Mark Giesel, Will Nurnberger and Christian Woodfin. Eligio Urani was ring bearer. A reception was held at The DoubleTree Hotel. The couple took a wedding cruise to the Bahama Islands They reside in this city.

Arianna Regging was the flower girl. Judge Graham served his son as best man. Acheson Rigsby Graham was ring bearer. A reception followed the ceremony. After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple resides in this city.

Traci Tucker was matron of honor. Ashley Baker was maid of honor. The bride’s attendants were Cheree Jones, Carrie Cole and Michael Walker. Jaden Tucker was the junior bridesmaid. Tyler Oaks acted as best man. The bridegroom’s attendants were Brice Burkhalter, Dustin Young, Coby Munsey and Maggie Phillips. Jared Tucker Jr. was junior groomsman. Josiah Johnson was ring bearer. A reception was held at Lookout Lake Bed and Breakfast. After a wedding trip to St. Augustine, Fla., the couple resides in Jasper.
