Engagement

Horn and Zouras

The engagement of Emily Ives Horn and James Bill Zouras is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Dudley Horn. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Bill James Zouras of Orland Park, Ill. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Oct. 22, in Chicago. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Henry Bethea and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Emerson Horn. Miss Horn is a graduate of Dalton High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in retail consumer science from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where she was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. She was presented in the 1998 Dalton Cotillion. She is employed as a pharmaceutical sales representative. The future bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Vasili Zouras and the late Mr. and Mrs. Athanasios Tsamouris. Mr. Zouras is a graduate of Richards High School in Oak Lawn, Ill. He received a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a juris doctorate from DePaul University College of Law. He is a founding partner in the law firm of Stephan Zouras LLP.

Engagement

Ikstrums and Solomon

The engagement of Anna Elizabete Ikstrums and Ryan Lee Solomon is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Theresa Ikstrums of Monterey, Calif. Parents of the future bridegroom are Peggy and Lee Solomon of Ringgold, Ga. The wedding is planned for Sunday, Sept. 25, at the Ferry Cruise Terminal in Bellingham, Wash. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Maija and Imants Ikstrums of Mercer Island, Wash. Miss Ikstrums received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Western Washington University. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Helen Solomon. Mr. Solomon attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and received a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. He is an aviator in the United States Navy.

Malone and Rittenhouse

The engagement of Bridgett Nicole Malone and Travis Michael Rittenhouse is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Malone. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Mike Rittenhouse. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Oct. 1, at Mountain Oaks Wedding Chapel. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lucille Malone, the late Robert D. Malone and the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard P. Long. Miss Malone received certification in massage therapy from Miller-Motte Technical School. She is a licensed massage therapist at Bei Capelli. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kraft and Jenny Rittenhouse of Clinton, Ill. Mr. Rittenhouse is a graduate of Central High School and is employed by Chattanooga Seating Systems.

The engagement of Lydia Brook Moon and Joseph Nicholas Pietrantone IV is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas F. Moon of Greensboro, Ga. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pietrantone III. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Nov. 12, at Grace Fellowship Church in Greensboro, where the bride-elect is a member. The future bride is the granddaughter of Florence and Fred Moon of Greensboro and the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Askew. Miss Moon is a graduate of Nathanael Greene Academy. She received a bachelor’s degree in radiological sciences from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Ga. She is a registered diagnostic medical sonographer. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pietrantone Jr. of Elgin, S.C., and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Lovejoy of Fernandina Beach, Fla. Mr. Pietrantone is a graduate of Family Christian Academy. He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He is a member of Woodland Park Baptist Church and is a financial consultant for TVA.

The engagement of Autumn Leigh Steele and Justin Monroe Sigler is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Dale and Sharon Steele of Trenton, Ga. Parents of the future bridegroom are Alan and Vega Sigler of Bryant, Ala. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Oct. 8. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Willard and Charlsie Steele, the late John Craze and the late Betty Craze. Miss Steele is a graduate of Dade County High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She attends Ebenezer Baptist Church in Bryant and is a teacher at Dade County High School. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Howard and Jean Sigler of Memphis, the late Earl and Lauretta Marona and the late Nancy Sigler. Mr. Sigler is a graduate of North Sand Mountain High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Alabama at Huntsville. He attends Ebenezer Baptist Church and is a registered nurse at Erlanger.

Ashley Lynn Rasch became the bride of Louis Neal Anderson in a ceremony on Saturday, April 2, at First United Methodist Church in Florence, Ala. The Rev. Mike Pope performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Charles and Teresa Rasch of Florence. Parents of the bridegroom are Louis and Brenda Anderson of Jasper, Tenn. Mollie Walker Clement McLemore was matron of honor and Stella Kate McLemore was the flower girl. Adam Grier served as best man. A reception was held at Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club. After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple resides in Birmingham, Ala.

Bridesmaids were Allison May Abbott, Janelle Denae Hartman, Maria Lorraine Hoffman, Amy Claire Littlejohn, Kristin Frazier Lovelace, Emily Smith Maddux, Hannah Elizabeth Risley, Hope Victoria Shores and Valerie King Stine.
