Watkins and Baushke
The engagement of Amy Elaine Watkins and Ryan William Baushke is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Danny and Anita Watkins. Parents of the future bridegroom are Bill and Patti Baushke of Clarksville, Tenn. The wedding is planned for Sunday, July 15, at Chester Frost Park. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jerry and Janice Watkins of Jackson, Ga., and Annie Rudene Tatum of Union City, Ga. Miss Watkins graduated from Soddy-Daisy High School and attended Chattanooga State Community College. She is a financial service representative for Northwest Georgia Bank The future bridegroom is the grandson of Daisiana Curtis of St. Joseph, Mich. Mr. Baushke graduated from Clarksville High School and attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He is a sales consultant for Mountain View Nissan.
Carson and Horton
The engagement of Stephanie Diana Carson and Patrick William Horton is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Danny and Chris Carson of LaFollette, Tenn. Parents of the future bridegroom are Joey and Teresa Horton. The wedding is planned for Saturday, June 9, at Knoxville Botanical Gardens. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Gilbert and Betty Carson and the late Pearl and Novella Henley. Miss Carson received bachelor’s degrees in communications and education from Tennessee Technological University. She is a teacher and is a member of Indiana Avenue Baptist Church in LaFollette. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Joe F. Horton Jr., the late Nadia Horton and Roy and Mary Parham. Mr. Horton received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Tennessee Technological University. He is an engineer and is a member of Red Bank Church of Christ.
Reeves and Ragghianti
Lauren Elizabeth Reeves became the bride of Matthew Joseph Ragghianti in a ceremony on Monday, April 16, in Grayton Beach, Fla. The bride is the daughter of Robert and Melanie Reeves of Johnson City, Tenn. Parents of the bridegroom are Gene and Ginny Ragghianti. Bailey Reeves, sister of the bride, and Patrick Ragghianti, brother of the bridegroom, were the couple’s attendants. They reside in this city.
Gates and Holt
The engagement of Abigail Grant Gates and Andrew David Holt is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Sherrill Gates and the late David Allen Gates. Parents of the future bridegroom are Kathy and David Holt. The wedding is planned for Saturday, June 9, at the Little Brown Church on Signal Mountain. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Phyllis and Rodney Rucks and the late Betty and William Gates. Miss Gates is a graduate of Boyd-Buchanan School. She received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Middle Tennessee State University, where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She is office manager for Local Fare Magazine. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Virginia Holt and the late Sara and Otis Cornett. Mr. Holt is a graduate of Boyd-Buchanan School. He received a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He is a logistics coordinator at Access America Transport and attends Clear Creek Church of Christ.
Carr and Atchley
Brittany Carr became the bride of Lt. Taylor Atchley in a ceremony on Saturday, March 17, at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church in Oliver Springs, Tenn. The Rev. Garven Walls officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Carr of Oliver Springs. Grandparents of the bride are the late Bill and Dora Carr. Parents of the bridegroom are Gordon Atchley of Crossville, Tenn., and Jennifer Richey. Grandparents of the bridegroom are Carolyn Atchley Perry of Centre, Ala., the late Gordon Atchley, Judy Snead Crittenden and the late Bobby Griffith. Heather Carr served her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Brandi King, Shanda Miller, Ashley McKee and Valerie Robison. Bridget Moore was the flower girl. Bob Atchley served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were D.L. King, Chris Williams, Heath Nichols and William Ashford. Bradley Moore was ring bearer. Ushers were Derek Atchley, Wade Trammell, Dustin Atchley and Tyson Hamilton. A reception was held in Knoxville. After a wedding trip to St. Lucius Island, the couple resides in Washington, D.C., where Lt. Atchley attends Georgetown Medical School.
