Dann and Ogden
The engagement of Lt. Mary Katherine Dann and Capt. Wesley Robert Ogden is announced today. The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lawrence Dann. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mary Corrigan Ogden and William Wesley Ogden Jr., both of Houston, Texas. The wedding is planned for Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Church of the Good Shepherd on Lookout Mountain, where the bride-elect is a member. The future bride is the granddaughter of Jean Hunt Graeber of Charlotte, N.C., the late Eugene Blake Graeber Jr., and the late Mr. and Mrs. William A. Dann. Lt. Dann is a graduate of Girls Preparatory School. She received a bachelor’s degree in ocean engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy. She is a Navy SH-60B helicopter pilot, stationed in Atsugi, Japan. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Jane Carswell Corrigan of Bethesda, Md., the late Ambassador Robert Foster Corrigan, and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Wesley Odgen Sr. Capt. Ogden is a graduate of Memorial High School in Houston. He received a bachelor’s degree in information technology from the U.S. Naval Academy. He is a Marine KC-130 pilot, stationed at Cherry Point, N.C., and a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church in Houston.
Tallant and Vines
The engagement of Alicia Leigh Tallant and Timothy Michael Vines is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Gary and Paula Tallant. Parents of the future bridegroom are Hugh and Sandi Vines. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Sept. 29, at First Lutheran Church, where the bride-elect is a member. The future bride is the granddaughter of Paul and Betty Garner and the late Ralph and Beatrice Tallant. Miss Tallant is a graduate of Boyd-Buchanan School. She received a bachelor’s degree in biology, magna cum laude, from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is employed by North American Credit Services. The future bridegroom is the grandson of William Paul Johnson, the late Willi Mae Johnson and the late Ira Lee and Geneva Vines. Mr. Vines graduated from Hixson High School and attended Chattanooga State Community College. He is employed by North American Credit Services, and is a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Williams and Wood
The engagement of Mandy Lea Williams and Chad Wood is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Randal and Hollie Williams. Parents of the future bridegroom are Robert and Terri Wood of Rock Spring, Ga., and Cookie and Kenny Branum. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Gordon-Lee Mansion in Chickamauga, Ga. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of David Goode of New Hampshire, Judy Thompson and Lorraine Williams. Miss Williams received an associate’s degree in diagnostic medical sonography from Chattanooga State Community College. She is employed as a sonographer by Hutcheson Medical Center. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Charles E. and Virginia Wood and Charley and Deloris Jenkins. Mr. Wood is an electrician.
Moye and Coffey
Megan Elizabeth Alsobrook Moye became the bride of Michael David Coffey in a ceremony on Saturday, July 21, at Covenant Presbyterian Church. The Rev. J. Render Caines performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Alice Lynn Alsobrook and Philip Stephen Moye. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. William Starling Coffey. Bailey Elizabeth Hixon was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Jason Daniel Coffey, Mrs. Rudolph Stevens Hausler III, Mary Alice Holley, Amanda Paige Ivey, Mrs. Gregory Perkins, Sarah Elizabeth Perkins and Alexandria Justine Satterfield. Jason Daniel Coffey served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Evan Robert Bissonette, Thomas Paul Blackburn, Rudolph Stevens Hausler III, John Derrick Nash, Adam Wilson Semtner and Gordon Patrick Strunk. A reception was held at the Mountain City Club. After a wedding trip to Destin, Fla., the couple resides in this city.
Davies and Maley
Laura Frances Davies became the bride of Jonathan Evans Maley in a ceremony on Thursday, May 31, at Calistoga Ranch in Calistoga, Calif. The Rev. Kimberly Thompson performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Griffith Davies III. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Maley of Douglas, Ga. Mary Margaret Davies, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Mr. Maley served his son as best man. A reception was held at the ranch. After a wedding trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the couple resides in this city.
