Koger and Dixon
The engagement of Bonnie Brooke Koger and William Seth Dixon is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Miles Edwin Koger of Ringgold, Ga. Parents of the future bridegroom are Derrie Pulver of Ringgold and Tim Dixon of Dalton, Ga. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Feb. 16, at Chickamauga Presbyterian Church. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Crane, Doris Koger and Miles C. Koger. Miss Koger received a bachelor’s degree in communication and a master’s degree in education and special education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is a teacher at Ridgeland High School and is a member of Rossville Church of Christ. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Derryl Harkleroad of Rock Spring, Ga., Betty Massengale and Raymond Dixon, both of Ringgold. Mr. Dixon received bachelor’s degrees in business administration and accounting from the University of West Georgia. He is employed by TractManager Inc. of Chattanooga and is a member of Rock Bridge Community Church in Dalton.

Stout and Mathews
The engagement of Alison Curtis Stout and William Barton Mathews is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Barnes Stout. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. James Starr Mathews of Calhoun, Ga. The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 11, at the Honors Golf Course. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry “Wig” Robinson, Mrs. John B. Stout of Memphis, and the late Mr. Stout. Miss Stout is a graduate of Baylor School. She received a degree in hospitality and business from the University of Alabama, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She is a resource assistant at Milner Milling Inc. and is a member of Church of the Good Shepherd. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Bill Delaney Mathews of Calhoun, the late Robbie “Bobbie” Harlan Mathews, Jean Chappell Waters and the late Dr. Robert Alston Waters. Mr. Mathews is a graduate of Baylor School. He received a degree in risk management and insurance from the University of Georgia, where he was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He is a vice president and account executive for Starr Mathews Insurance and is a member of First United Methodist Church.
