Wedding

Hannah and Saieed

Alicia Hannah became the bride of Samuel Ray Saieed in a ceremony on Saturday, April 27, at Inlet Beach, Fla. Dr. Hunter Hughes performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Michael and Freeda Hannah of Arlington, Tenn. Parents of the bridegroom are Daniel and Karen Saieed. Audrey Cross Keown and Pamela Malinowski Wilson served as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Holly Yackey, sister of the bride, Madison Ralston and Morgan Horner. Constance Yackey was the flower girl. Groomsmen were Paul Archambault, Barry Lewis, Brian Geppi, Blake Waddell and Avery Washburn. Christopher Hannah was the junior groomsman and Coleton Yackey was ringbearer. A reception was held at Anna’s Veranda in Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., where the couple honeymooned. The couple resides in this city.

Chandler and Chapin

The engagement of Leslie Vassey Chandler and William L. Chapin is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Peggy Vassey and the late Royal Benjamin Vassey. Parents of the future bridegroom are Doris Chapin of Lynchburg, Va., and the late Marshall Chapin. The wedding is planned for Sunday, June 9, at Wintergreen Resort in Wintergreen, Va. The bride-elect is a counseling psychologist at Girls Preparatory School, and is a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. Mr. Chapin is owner of Dominion Box Co. in Dayton, Tenn.

Au and Howard

The engagement of Jasmine Lorraine Au and Tyler Joseph Howard is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry “Brownie” Au Jr. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Howard of Knoxville. The wedding is planned for Friday, July 5, at the Reserve at Bluebird Hill in Lenoir City, Tenn. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Berniece W. Pack of Cleveland, Tenn., the late John H. Pack, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Au Sr. Miss Au received a bachelor’s degree in marketing and international business, summa cum laude, from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She is marketing coordinator for Scripps Networks Interactive. The future bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Baker, and Dr. and Mrs. Robert Howard of Knoxville. Mr. Howard received a bachelor’s degree in economics, international business and mathematics, magna cum laude, from UTK. He will begin doctoral studies in economics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in August.

The engagement of Amanda Nicole Benson and Tyler Cade Williams is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Harwell Benson of Houston. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Cade Williams Jr. The wedding is planned for Saturday, June 1, at The Courtyard on St. James Place in Houston. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Josephine Theobald, the late Henning Theobald, Mary Nell Benson and the late Harry Benson. Miss Benson is a graduate of Cypress Creek High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. She is a procurement associate with Exxon Mobil in Houston. The future bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edd Volney Harper and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Cade Williams. Mr. Williams is a graduate of Soddy-Daisy High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He is a procurement associate with Exxon Mobil in Houston.

The engagement of Crystal Jane Reel and 2nd Lt. Casey Michael Kreilein is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Stephen and Jane Reel of Dayton, Tenn. Parents of the future bridegroom are Wayne and Rose Kreilein of Jasper, Ind. The wedding is planned for Saturday, July 6, at Chilhowee Campground. Miss Reel received a bachelor’s degree in business administration, summa cum laude, from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. The future bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from UTC. He is an officer in the U.S. Army.

He is employed as an automotive assembly inspector, and is a member of Masjid Muhammad.

He received a bachelor’s degree in international business from Johnson and Wales University. He is the southeastern regional sales manager for Mighty Lube and OPCO.

Lt. Mary Katherine Dann, became the bride of Capt. Wesley Robert Ogden in a ceremony on Saturday, April 20, at Church of the Good Shepherd on Lookout Mountain. The Rev. Robert Carter Paden and the Rev. Christopher S. Fronk, performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lawrence Dann. Parents of the bridegroom are Mary Corrigan Ogden and William Wesley Ogden Jr. of Houston, Texas. Amy Katherine Vetter was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mary Katherine Brock, Jennifer Lynn Cole, Laura Cameron Graeber, Julia Anne Loveless, Susan Ellen Mogck, Kelly Corrigan Ogden, Shelia Corrigan, Lt. Caroline Maria Seider and Taylor Elaine Tucker. Evelyn Marie Edwards was the flower girl Capt. Stephen Ray Gilley, served as best man. Groomsmen were Lt. Robert David Archer, Capt. Michael Charles Bell, Capt. John Ashton Boykin, Lt. William Eugene Dann, Jonathan Andrew Dann, Robert James Dann, Capt. Peter James Dorn, Lt. Andrew James Edwards and Capt. Daniel Scott Vanes. A reception was held at Fairyland Club on Lookout Mountain. After a wedding trip to St. Barts Island, the couple resides in Pensacola, Fla.

The future bridegroom is the grandson of Ralph White of Ringgold, and Carolyn Cofer. Mr. Cofer is enrolled at IBEW apprenticeship school for electricians. He is employed as an electrical apprentice.
