The engagement of Allison Farabee Smith and Joshua Taylor Gadd is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alan Randolph Smith. Parents of the future bridegroom are Dr. and Mrs. Richard Gadd. The wedding is planned for Saturday, March 19, at Blackberry Farm. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wade Scott Murray of Bridgeport, Ala., and the late Dr. and Mrs. Ralph Benton Smith. Miss Smith graduated from Boyd Buchanan School and attended the University of Mississippi. She is a member of the Girls? Cotillion and was presented at the 1999 Cotton Ball. She is a member of Central Church of Christ and is employed by Troon Golf. The future bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gadd and the late Mr. and Mrs. Claude Gouger. Mr. Gadd is a graduate of Chattanooga Christian School. He received a bachelor?s degree in business from Bryan College.
