The Florida Gators beat the Patriots 73-58 today in the first game of the NCAA Final Four at Indianapolis, ending the most improbable run in NCAA tournament history.
The Gators will play for its first national championship on Monday night against UCLA, which dominated SEC power LSU 59-45 in the nights late game.
Corey Brewer and Lee Humphrey each scored 19 to lead the Gators. Humphrey was 6-of-12 on 3-pointers, which proved to be the difference in the game.
For the game, George Mason made just 2 of 11 3-pointers while Florida made 12 of 25.
