Baylors Seal will face McCallies Ramsay in No. 1 championship tennis match

A collection of the areas top players from McCallie, Baylor and GPS has advanced to Saturdays Division A No. 1 singles finals at the Chattanooga Rotary Tennis Tournament at Baylor.



Top-seeded Bo Seal of Baylor and second-seeded Charlie Ramsay of McCallie will face each other in the No. 1 championship match.



Seal advanced with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Adam Baker of Montgomery Bell Academy. Ramsay defeated Koxville Webbs David Parks 7-6 (2), 6-1 in the semifinals.



Baylors Julian Onken and McCallies Tariq Ismail will play for the No. 2 title.



In the girls competition, GPSs Claire Bartlett will play Berkley Block of Webb in the No. 1 final at 8:30 a.m. Bartlett advanced with a semifinal win over Brandi Cordell of Baylor, 6-2, 6-1.
