Less than a year into his chancellorship at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Dr. Roger Brown already is out of a job. For today, that is.
In an annual tradition, the chancellor is switching places with a student for the day. Dr. Brown is scheduled to attend two of the students classes and an SGA meeting, while the lucky scholar, sophomore Bill Staley, gets to attend a battery of meetings and campus events.
Mr. Staley was chosen by a drawing from students who entered their name into the contest.
Strangely, Mr. Staleys name is only a couple of letters off from Dr. Browns predecessor, former Chancellor Bill Stacy, now headmaster at Baylor School.
