David Conrady was promoted this morning to associate head coach of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga mens basketball team, according to the UTC sports information department.
Conrady just finished his second year with the program after coming from Division II Newberry College, where he was the head coach. Prior to his two years at Newberry, he was the head coach of D-II North Greenville College for seven seasons.
He graduated from Furman in 1987, and he was a three-year captain who started more than 50 consecutive games at point guard for the Paladins.
