Few things amuse me more, as Im loading my cart at the grocery store, than hearing the Muzak version of some annoying ditty such as Bruce Springsteens Born to Run or anything by the insufferable Sting, come to think of it.
You know Muzak, dont you? Its those soft, instrumental versions of popular tunes, including songs by hyper-pretentious rockers such as The Boss. (Whose boss, pray tell?)
Anyhow, you know your song is wretched beyond description when the Muzak rendition is an improvement.
