Tech Cast: New laser printers draw attention

Filed by Donnie Jenkins

This week Hewlett-Packard announced some new laser printers at a great price point. It appears the low end printer will sell for $299, amazing for a laser.

There is a new trend for TV networks to release reruns of popular shows online, as well as original programming. We are slowly moving toward movies on demand online. CinemaNow and Movieline have moved this idea along, and YouTube has pushed the consumer side, but we're a long way from being able to get whatever we want when we want it. This does hold a lot of promise, however.

This week AOL allegedly blocked e-mail from a competitor, got caught, and fixed the problem. I get a kick out of watching how the big dogs keep trying to eat each other, then have to eat their own dog food.

More later...
