Metro Chatt: Frist offering online podcasts

Filed by Michael Davis

U.S. Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn., recently started offering podcasts through the Internet site of his political action committee, VOLPAC.

Podcasts are recorded audio segments downloaded from the Internet that can be listened to on a computer, on Apple iPods or on other portable electronic devices.

Several podcasts already are available on the political action committees Web site at www.volpac.org. As of this afternoon, there were five podcasts posted, including a few on the immigration issue and one about lobbying reform.
