Ooltewah senior Kyler Burke was picked for the 2006 All-American baseball game presented by PlayStation. Burke, who is among the area leaders in almost every offensive category, will be presented his All-American game jersey in a ceremony Wednesday at the school.
The All-American baseball game is produced by SportsLink, a New Jersey company that also produces the annual Army All-America high school football game. The baseball game will be played June 7 in Alberquerque, N.M., and will be televised by Fox Sports Net.
Burke, who has signed with Vanderbilt, is among the 35 players selected for the game.
