This week and next, at midnight, Cartoon Networks Adult Swim will air their favorite episodes of Saved By the Bell. This move upset some of the hardcore fans, and you can catch the episodes most mornings on TBS, but I cant hate Adult Swim. Saved By the Bell was as much a part of growing up as learning to walk, and puberty.
The eight episodes include fan favorites Jessies Song, where Jessie gets hooked on caffeine pills and Rockumentary, where Casey Kasem tells the story of The Zack Attack.
Not featured is the favorite episode of Chattanoogas Dennis Haskins, better known as Mr. Belding. A couple years ago he told me his favorite episode was the one where his brother comes in to take the kids on a rafting trip and then bails to hook up with a stewardess and Mr. Belding fills in to save the day.
If thats not enough Bell, most of the series is available on DVD.
On a semi-related note, this Dennis Haskins, an investigator in Oklahoma, looks a lot like the modern day Belding.
