By popping a balloon with a dart, state Rep. Gerald McCormick, R-Chattanooga, left, won $200 for Birchwood Elementary School’s Parent-Teacher Association during the Tennessee Health Care Association’s “Partnering for Charity” event. THCA is a nonprofit that represents long-term care facilities across the state. Each of the 59 legislators who won a donation were able to select the charity receiving the check. With the legislator are Carla Youngberg of Life Care Centers of Collegedale and Rick Mountz of Life Care Centers of America.
