MCMINNVILLE, Tenn. — Gov. Phil Bredesen said today that the federal government has done a good job of helping Tennesseans affected by deadly tornadoes earlier this month.
I give FEMA (the Federal Emergency Management Agency) high marks from the aspect we have seen from them, he said after meeting with about 30 Warren County officials at the county’s administration building.
Two tornadoes touched down April 7 in Warren County, killing three and destroying or damaging 71 buildings.
