The countdown to Talladega has reached three days, and no more preparation has taken place. I may hit up a few retail establishments before tonight’s airing of “Gilmore Girls,” and have no fear, I’ll keep you up-to-date on the quest for adequate race-weekend seating.
Speaking of my favorite show. I was a bit alarmed to learn that the creator and her husband have exited Stars Hollow, as if hearing that Luke’s Diner could actually be separated from the rest of the set weren’t tragic enough.
Mothers with children serving in Iraq and other deployment destinations have turned to the information superhighway for camaraderie.
Also, for those who want a heads up on commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster may want to visit Slate and BBC. I’m sure the coverage will grow tomorrow, and my linking will follow suit.
On a lighter note, Yellow Tail appears to have carved a solid niche in the American market. Trying to imagine this land before quality $6 vino hurts my heads, so let’s all extend our gratitude to the Aussies for their invaluable contribution. (although I’m more of a Sutter Home girl)
