Chattanooga State informational sessions set

Chattanooga State Technical Community College has announced it will offer a series of information sessions designed to showcase its educational opportunities.



The sessions have been set to help the school better serve potential and currently enrolled students, CSTCC said in a news release.



Topics include enrollment, financial aid, career options and specific programs.



Topics change weekly and will be presented Mondays through Thursdays at varying times throughout the summer months, the news release said.



The first information sessions are slated to begin next week.



The topics during the initial week are:



-- June 5: "College: How do I get started?" Noon; "Your Best Career Pick," 1 p.m. Sessions held in CBIH cafe.



-- June 6: "Exploring Tennessee Technology Center (TTC) Programs," 8:30 a.m., TTC; "Innovations in Psychology 101," Noon, CBIH cafe; "The Next Level: Entrepreneurship and Office Management," 6 p.m., East Campus; "Veterinary Technology," 6 p.m., CBIH cafe.



-- June 7: "Planning your Educational Success," 1 p.m., CBIH cafe; "Dropping Back into College," 6 p.m., CBIH cafe.



-- June 8: "Spotlight on Theater and Music!" Noon or 6 p.m., CBIH cafe; "Legal Eagles: Paralegal Studies and Judicial Reporting" and "Realtime: Captioning to Aid Understanding," 6 p.m., East Campus.
