Bob Corker has agreed to participate in a forum hosted by a conservative Nashville radio host.
He initially refused to participate with his opponents in the Republican primary, Ed Bryant and Van Hilleary. Mr. Corker’s campaign said last month they weren’t going to participate in the forum, hosted by Steve Gill, because the format was proposed by Mr. Bryant and Mr. Corker was only going to participate in “serious media-sponsored events.”
Mr. Gill said Thursday night that the debate will likely happen the week of June 19.
“Bob Corker has indicated he does want to participate in a 3-party debate on our radio show, and we’re just trying to work out the dates at this point,” Mr. Gill said.
