I think I figured out how to pass the Faith and Family Night test at Riverbend:
Q: Are you a Christian?
Q: Do you have any unsaved friends?
Earlier this evening, Kimberly Alshekhli and her daughter Sabriah, 5, delivered water to the seat of her mother, Earmer Crutcher.
The three generations said they were drawn to the festivities by the idea of family.
“We need more of it,” said the matriarch.
Having just returned from the TVA Fun Barge, Sabriah was excited to go back and meet the boat’s captain.
During the inaugural visit, she took advantage of the children’s activities and decorated a white handkerchief with drawings and stamps.
“I love butterflies,” she said, pointing to an imprint on her newest creation.
As if the purple butterfly on her T-shirt were not an indication.
Speaking of attire, you better snap up those “Riverbend: It’s a Family Tradition” shirts before it’s too late. There are only four days left, people, and the tradition may not continue with Bocephus absent from next year’s lineup.
