Dancing on the Stage

Filed by M. Trevor Higgins

Belly dancers and the “Korean Dance” troupe were on the Covista Stage early today, and I enjoyed the change of pace the performance artists brought. A few more exotic acts on the smaller stages would probably be a nice addition.

I took a walk by the boat docks, and the boats were pretty much void of their owners. If I owned a boat I would be in it today, but I guess even boat owners have to work sometimes.

I’ve seen lots of signs for Sugarland, and the most pre-show folding chairs at this time of day since Hank Jr. I think people are excited, really excited.

Longtime Chattanooga favorites Overland Express play later tonight. Last night I learned Dennis Haskins, aka Mr. Belding, used to manage the band. He’s in town so look for him hanging around.
