"Great Strides," a benefit event for cystic fibrosis research, begins with registration at 7 a.m. March 31 in front of the Lee University Student Union. Start for the 5K road race is 8:30 a.m. The walk begins at 10 a.m. According to sponsors of the event, community volunteers and the university, Great Strides is the largest national fundraiser for the CF Foundation.
