KNOXVILLE —; The UT Board of Trustees on Wednesday will recommend a 4.1 percent increase in tuition for UTC and a $20-per-semester increase in the university’s athletics fee.
The tuition will support a 2 percent employee salary increase, assist in paying increased utility costs, pay for increases in scholarships and fellowships and help pay for general education faculty positions.
Trustees are meeting today and Wednesday in Knoxville. The board on Wednesday is expected to set student tuition and fees.
