Hamilton County General Sessions Court Judge Ronald Durby set bonds today for four Chattanooga men and a woman charged in connection with two shootings last week at public housing developments.

Michael Daniels, Federico Brock, Darius Sneed, Delicia Woodruff and Quanan Hutchinson each face at least $1 million bonds.

Mr. Daniels, Mr. Brock, Mr. Sneed and Ms. Woodruff each are charged in connection with a shooting June 13 at Emma Wheeler Homes that killed 26-year-old Adrian Patton.

A 17-year-old who will not be identified according to Chattanooga Times Free Press policy also is charged in juvenile court.

Mr. Hutchinson is charged in a shooting on Friday at East Lake Courts that killed 24-year-old Jermaine Southers.

Police said they believe the shooting on Friday was in retaliation for the June 13 shooting.

The defendants in the earlier shooting are scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Thursday.

Mr. Hutchinson is scheduled to return to court July 5.
